I like the over 7 previouslyand I am going to coatail Raymond.

Over 7 SF/FLA

By The Way: I can't bring myself to play Florida straight up when they intentionally walk Barry Bonds ( with two outs to boot).

Barry Bonds has 45 Home Runs @ 390 At Bats. That translate to one in 8.66666 at bats.

Sheesus Christmas, can they not at least pitch him garbage or go after him. If he gets you, well that's the way it goes. I would think percentages are in the pitchers favor. 8 to 1 odds.

I can't play a team that is scared of him.

If you had The Marlins on Tuesday + 1 1/2 runs, then you got piped by a poor managerial decision !

What good would it be to play The Marlins if they are scared of Barry Bonds?

I disagree...every team in baseball is "scared" of Bonds. That makes no sense. If they make it past the Marlins then the next team will pitch around him, and the next, and so on.

No way they are gonna let Bonds beat them with 1 swing, pitch around him and they wont score. Look at their record without Bonds....look at it with him...makes sense to me to take him out of the game.

Just IMO...

GL on whatever you play

SCARED FLORIDA TEAM NOT !

SCARED FLORIDA TEAM NOT !

LETS BE REAL HERE. YOU HAVE THE MOST PROLIFIC HOME RUN HITTER COMING TO THE PLATE. NO MATTER WHAT HE IS VIEWED AS A RUN. WHAT BETTER CHANCE THAN TO WALK HIM AND HOPE NOT TO GIVE IT UP ON THE BASES RATHER THAN HAVE HIM CRANK ONE OUT WHICH HE DOES EVERY 8.666 TIMES AT BAT. THAT IS GREAT MANAGING BY MCKEON.

FLORIDA TAKES GAME #2 PENNY IS HOT AS OF LATE. PLAY IT.

anyone with major league talent pitching would want to face bonds to see who's got game but any manager would do the obvious thing......give him nothing to hit........:nono:

How is it 'great managing' when Bonds' walks led to both of the runs. One he scored directly after stealing 2nd. And the first run was manufactured when Aurilia got moved to 2nd with 0 outs on a Bonds walk. Bonds hit .350 something this year. That means that when you make him swing he got out 65% of the time. We can debate this a lot, but I just don't see automatically walking him as a solution to anything.

While it's true that both runs were set up by intentional walks, but were more because of defensive blunders. The first run was a blatant error, and the second was on a play that should have been caught in center field. And the rest of that lineup sucks. A few guys have moderate numbers because teams give them pitches to hit, but if I were managing he wouldn't get a single pitch to hit.
