If there is a bright spot to the Cardinals this year, it has to be in the play of rookie WRs Anquan Boldin and Bryant Johnson. Both have performed admirably, especially Boldin, who has set rookie receiving records for most catches and yards in his first four games.
But this week, Dallas awaits the task. The Cowboys' passing defense ranks in the top third of all teams, however that number is boosted somewhat by the quality of receiver they have been facing. In three games against the Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants and New York Jets they have allowed 54.2 percent of pass attempts to be completed, for an average of 12.3 yards per completion. This average places them in the bottom third of the league. Contrast it with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who rank the best against the pass; they allow a mere 8.1 yards per completion. The Cardinals' receiving crew will be a good match up for the 'Boys.
