Thanx for the kind words boys. Selecting Unders is becoming harder. Lot of changes in personnel and becoming harder to know how the teams will react.
But hopefully we can keep rolling and the Under Gods will be with us. Will get this play out early since I may have to stay late @ work.
Lot of people jumping on the Atlanta game under 6 goals.
Atlanta is flying after the game to Canada for attending the funeral of Snyder. Can they focus on this game ? If they can then under might come in. If they cant then under is in danger.
That being said I will leave this game alone due to the circumstances.
Regarding Detroit and LA .. . Total @ 5.5 does seem .5 higher. But will pass in this one. Hasek gets off to slow starts at the beginning of the season and LA is healthy again. Dont like Mr. Roman in the goal and against a fast skating team his unorthodox style can spell trouble.
Buffallo and Philly: was looking @ this one. Sabres have bolstered their team and Philly has sent Mr. Roman packing. Philly does have a lot of offensive players and time will tell if they score more goals than last year.
Leaving Sharks, Canucks and other teams alone.

Carolina @ Florida Under 5 Goals
Carolina is healthy again. Possibly last year with Maurice as coach if they dont perform well. The goaltender situation has been resolved with Irbe gone and Weekes shud be solid. Only Qs is if he can last whole season. Backup goaltender will be ready in 10 days to play and this gives Weekes enuf time to thoroughly establish himself.
Florida has a relatively young team but defence shud be good if not spectacular. Luongo will definitely have a lot of confidence going in after his performance last year. Even though he did not get a lot of wins he was pretty solid in the goal. Florida did allow tons of shots (lot of quality shots) last year and hopefully this is one area in which they improve. I see their offence having more problem than the defence. Florida does tend to play better defence @ home. Looking for a good effort from them tonight.
I think final score will be Carolina 3 Florda 1
