...I want a shot at beantownjim in a Career vs. Career grudge match.

If I lose, I will NEVER post another play on any internet site. If beantownjim loses, he will deposit $660 in Cascade and NEVER complain about Lenny stiffing him again. One caveat is that if I lose I will be able to post information, research and columns on my page, but I will refrain from posting recommendations for plays of any kind. If beantownjim loses, he is still free to post, but his days of complaining about Lenny on this or any other forum are over.

Here are the rules:

1. All plays will be posted in the General Discussion forum at Madjacksports.com using current lines from CRIS. The line, the odds, the amount to risk and the amount to win must be posted with every wager.

2. The maximum exposure on any given day is $500. Bets can be for any amount from $1 to $500 but the total amount put up for risk in any day must be kept to $500 or less.

3. The contest runs from the day beantownjim accepts my challenge to the end of 2003. The ending date is negotiable.

There is my offer. I know the best advice is probably just to ignore you but this way is much more fun. You have 24 hours to accept this proposal.

Nick-

I don't think he can because I believe he is in another head to head contest. Sorry I can't elaborate because I am getting the hell out of this forum. I heard there is some new gang of softball chicks that are tough as hell and willing to take anybody on...

Jim, that is OK. As much as I would like to see you shut the heck up already about a good book like Cascade, I understand. Obviously I only know what has been posted by you & Lenny but I think Cascade ripped you off. That said, it would never keep from playing with them if I ever thought an L-7 like myself could beat them.

If you can't handle those stakes, I still am willing to take you on head to head for lower stakes. Think about it.

Smashmouth, I have a slight modification to the rules of your proposed contest:

You pick one game each week, call it the game of the year, post at least a dozen times about this one game and then moan and whine about quitting forever when it loses.

I'll keep posting quality information, serious columns about handicapping and detailed reviews of sportsbooks.

The winner of the contest is the one who doesn't annoy the other by polluting his threads with inane contest ideas.

The divorce rate in the U.S. is well over 50%. What's the #1 reason? MONEY!

Beantown, it's just 660 bucks for crying outloud. Take Nick's challenge and you can win it back.

Now that was funny. I'll give you that. I guess this means two things; We won't be competing for charity, and you won't say hello in vegas? I didn't think you would except the challenge and that is fine. Maybe it was dumb idea. No need to get personal.
What happened? Did the Hulkster Lose or something?

No, Smashmouth, we're cool. I just wanted to post something for a cheap laugh. I probably was a bit too harsh so i do apologize if I offended you. Just a little goof.

Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else in Las Vegas.
