The Worm just got a e-mail from one of his followers and was asked who he follows--so I was thinking--who do I consider a great capper on this website--there really are many-I would like people to chime in with their picks and what sport their pick excels at--(Do not Vote for yourself please)--this should be fun:) :D

I would guess that almost nobody will give a real vote for fear of offending those they don't vote for. My vote goes to Investment Executive, because that guy has any stat or any angle you could want. I think judging on short term results (a year or two) you would probably find handicappers with better results but I know that every time I want to know a stat or angle, I can post it on a message board here and Investment Executive will have a follow up with the information I am looking for.

Tough question because many feal they are good. To easy to leave someone out. The good news it's not me.
I have differant ways of saying best, better, or good. I like helpfull. We have some that do well with picks. We have some that are so good at catching some info close to teams in there area and sharing it with us. Hey some of that is even better then a pick. We have those that answer when questions are asked. So we have lots to be thankfull for here. I do have my regulars I check just to keep myself advised of other thoughts. And many times you get busy and forget to say thks. But I think many here know that our thanks go out to them.

I think that madjacks is about more than the best overall capper. This place is about information and I can't tell you how many times I got the right info here. I think that madjack's has many great cappers in many different area's, and before I place a bet on a game i will check and see if they have any advice on the game of interest. In the end I guess it is how you use madjacks , and not who you follow or not follow. Good thread.

MadJack's has one of the best handicappers known to man just waiting in the wings.

As soon as Nick Douglas is recalled from the Free Picks Page, his replacement will become legend.

On the course!
I don't think anyone gives two shits who the best is. People wait for a good capper to have a bad run, so they can shit on them. Period.

IMO, there are about a dozen guys in this site who actually bring something to the table. (Major U.S. sports....I don't go into the other threads, so there is a good chance there are some good cappers in there.) A vast majority of the "cappers" in here, just want to post a rag-tag play, shout how it's a lock, and shout all over the board if it wins. They couldn't care less about information, or its worth in actual handicapping. They just want people to tell them how great they are. To me, they clutter up a good site.

The rest? Guys who just want to hang out, read and reply, or the guys who wish to disrupt.

No handicapper here is consistant enough to "follow". I will respect some guys opinions, and maybe stay off a bet based on their take, but that is rare. The fact remains......even the best come back to .500 sooner or later. More often than not, once you see a guy as a "hot capper", the flame flickers, and fades. What's left after that?

"You suck! I can't believe you have the balls to post your plays!"

It's a vicious game, boys.

Can't get much better than NDNFAN......very knowledgeable capper and always gives a good explanation as to why he sees a game the way he does.

9 replies so far and nobody else has the onions to name a name. Told ya...

We all know that MadJack's *should be* about exchanging information, not racing to see who the best handicapper is. That said, I know that people here have some idea in the back of their minds who the best handicapper is. Just stop being afraid and post a name.

well so so so many guys on here know what they are doing...but if I had a gun to my head and had to pick some I'd say:

crookycymru....Rugby

PAWAQATSI.....Aussy Rules Football

countinguy......Big Ten basketball

Nickelback.......College Basketball

fletcher............Boxing

reason why I listed these guys is because I know very little about these sports......so in order to learn more I pay attention to what these guys say...........but as I said.....there are tons of guys on here that know their stuff........just thought I'd list a few :p

Nick- when did you start taking a bitter pill every morning?- you used to be rational and a good read but I've definitely noticed a change lately- doesn't become you imo.
