Showrunner's Nfl Sunday Picks

Hey everyone,

I will be heading to Lambeau today to root on the Packers - hope they can give the Chiefs their first loss - not confident enough to make a wager on it...

Here is my updated YTD record:

NFL RECORD: 40W - 35L +13.55 UNITS
CFB YTD RECORD: 28W - 28L +15.45 UNITS
MLB YTD RECORD: 13W - 6L +53.96 UNITS
OVERALL RECORD: 81W - 69L +79.94 UNITS

I am not playing as many games tomorrow - mainly because I will be gone to the Packer game & not able to keep my eye on the other games...and also because I really have a lot of question marks about this weekends games...feel it has been the toughest one to cap as of yet...

Here are 2 plays i am playing tomorrow:

Bills -3 (+105)
Risking 4 units to win 4.2 units

Analysis:
I have to believe that after the last 3 weeks the public has jumped off of the Bills bandwagon...I really believe that the true line to this game should be Bills -6...the Jets will have a tough time tomorrow as this Defense will shut down Vinny & Martin...and look for the Bills offense to look a little more like the offense we saw during the first few weeks...this is the NFL and no the Jets will not be winless the whole season - but Buffalo has a better offense, better defense, and will beat the Jets by at least 7.

Philadelphia +1 (-110)
Risking 3.3 units to win 3 units
I will be the first to admit I am surprised by how well the Cowboys have started the season...I will also be the first to say that the Cowboys have not played a D as good as Philly's yet...look for Philly to continue to get back on track & they will beat the Cowboys tomorrow...Public jumping all over Dallas...not me...

One note about this weeks games - I know a lot of people are talking about this Miami/Jacksonville as a "trap game" w/ the Miami -3 line...the first games I always look at are the home dogs...I just don't understand why everyone is getting so excited about Jacksonville this weekend - Leftwich did play well - but he has not seen a D like Miami's - I see him making a few turnovers tomorrow...if i were to play this game - i would take the trap i guess and go w/ Miami - I still see Miami -3 as a solid play - I would force Jax to beat me - it is different if Miami was -7 or something but only laying 3 points I say there is a better chance that Miami wins & covers than Jax covers this game...I follow Miami closely & this team is maturing & playing well on the road this year - already winning against the NY Jets & Giants last week...I just don't see Jax winning this game

Also Carolina & the Redskins were tempting - but I can see Indy pouring it on at home - they are so good in the Dome - and I can see Carolina's Offense struggling in this one...and don't count TB out this weekend in Washington...

This weekend I just do not feel very comfortable w/ the dogs...so I have decided to lay off a little...I will watch how it plays out & take some notes...

Well just got back from Lambeau - what a way to lose the game for GB - this game was probably fixed right - I am just kidding - although i am sure someone will say that...the Pack just blew it - their defense is just not very good...

Anyways i see I am dropped my Eagles play & Buffalo is down by 10 at half! Day isn't looking too good! I hope people read my warning about that Jacksonville game - looked like a lot of people were on them - and Miami came through like i thought they would...

Well I will have a sunday night play - hoping the Cubs can finish off the Marlins & go to the World Series!

Well - here's hoping the Bills make a comeback!

What a comeback by the 49ers - finally fading the public comes through for me this weekend - i had 49ers +4 risking 11 units to win 10 units & hit the 49ers 2nd half -.5 risking 11 units to win 10 units! Just got back from watching the game at my buddy's house who is a huge Seahawks fan - needless to say he wasn't very happy - capped off a great day - went 2-2 and +12.7 units - the big 49ers plays came through - still can't believe the Bills didn't score a TD & the Eagles lost...and as i said yesterday i wasn't comfortable w/ most dogs this week - except I really liked the 49ers - everyone was on the Seahawks...overall picked up 12.7 units on the day...today again reinforced - as seen in the Packers & 49ers games that a game is not over unti it is over...

Hope everyone had a great day - i had a busy day as I was at the Packer game & then off to watch the Cubs (wish they wouldn't have lost) & then off to a Sunday night party...day finished with a bang...wish the Cubs would win & get in the World Series all ready - would make my life less stressful! At least I can relax at home & watch the MNF game tomorrow...still capping the game - let's nail it tomorrow!

Wow - it's amazing how some people can try to bring you down after you had a good day - I am the first person to congratulate everyone when they are winning & to pick them up when they are down...the one time I am not able to post because I am watching the game at a friends house & not able to access a computer to post I get hounded after I won the game? This is rediculous...I have done nothing but post winners & make money for you guys & the people who follow me know that...if i am being accused of making a play i didn't play this is rediculous...yes i am adding the win to my YTD record - because this is my TRUE YTD record in NFL...there is a thing called trust guys...well just had to vent as it seems like when someone does good around here others end up chasing them away...and i wasn't bragging up a win - just commenting on how the games turned out...all i did was made the comment that everyone seemed to be on the Seahawks & the 49ers was a good fade the public play...well good luck to everyone...I am not going to let any doubters bring me down...I am a very positive person

OK - i have to vent again - I am one of the few here who post their ACTUAL RECORD...there are a lot who will post for example Packers -1.5 or Seahawks under 44 or something - and not specify the units or their previous record...I wish everyone would post the record of ALL plays they played during the day...that would help us figure out who is winning & who is losing - and would help people to know who to follow...i have posted 154 plays here this year & the one time I don't have access to post i get ridiculed...this is rediculous...

Those who know me know i play between 2 and 10 units depending on what I feel is the strength of the play...I am done w/ this - no more bashing please...I mean I have posted all my plays and units except for 2 plays & now I get all these comments like "at least make it believable" - well I know what is true & those who know me know what a honest person i am - my record is true...bottom line - if you want to follow my plays do - if you don't then don't - but don't accuse me of things that aren't true...give a guy a break - at least i post my record & update it on a daily basis...I really wish someone would come to my defense - I have ABSOLUTELY NO INCENTIVE to post results that are not true...I wish their was more praise & less cutting people down around here...I have NEVER cut anyone down - just give people praise & tell them to keep their head up when they are losing...again I am done w/ this - i have posted all my plays but 2 - and i don't know why you guys won't let this go...I will be posting my MNF play in a few minutes...

GL to all - let's keep this a place where we praise each other & say positive things - not a place where we have to defend ourselves for silly little things...

Of course i would have taken units off - what i play i record on my record...and i suggest everyone should keep a record for themselves...i record all my plays & take notes on all the games i play...KOD i don't know why you are giving me such a hard time about this - I respect you & your plays - wish you would respect mine...I am getting sick of having to defend myself...
