MASTER~CAPPER WHERE DO YOU GET THESE LINES? I VE BEEN WAITING FOR OLYMPIC LINES. WELL THEY HAVE SOME OUT BUT NOT OHIO ST. IF IOWA IS GETTING 6- IM ALL OVER THE HAWKEYES. IF OHIO ST. DOESNT OPEN UP THE OFFENSE THIS WEEK THEY MAY LOSE AS MANY AS 3-4 GAMES INCLUDING THIS WEEK!

GL THIS WEEK!! LOVING THE HAWKEYES +6- & PROBABLY ON THE $ LINE!

Wox,

They come out around halftime of the 4pm NFL games, I usually use scoresandodds.com pr donbest.

I don't think the Buckeyes have the ability to open up the offense becuase Krenzil has limited passing skills but I also think that Iowa will struggle moving the ball on the Buckeyes.

Auburn will throw a shut out on Miss State this week, 30 point win.

Alabama will have trouble keeping Manning controlled, might be a good over play.

My top play is going to be South Carolina on the money line

I HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH YOU KING COBRA, I BELIEVE THAT MANNING WILL SEE MORE OF THE GROUND THAN THE ENDZONE! TIDES DEFENSE IS TOUGH BUT THE OFFENSE IS IN TROUBLE WITH 3RD STRING QB AVALOS. HE CANT THROW HIS WAY OUT OF A WET PAPERBAG. BUT WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT SINCE HE HASNT TOOK SNAPS UNTIL THE OTHER WEEK. JUST DONT THINK THAT MANNING AND COMPANY WILL WALK ALL OVER THE TIDE!!!!!!

I still think Manning will have a field day on the Bama defense since they have been on the field so much this year but Tide2121 is right about the Bama offense struggling so scratch over and changing play to Ole Miss.

it's hard to imagine unc staying within a td of asu, then again it was hard to imagine that last year as well.

TGS: Looking for an angle
Oct. 13, 2003
By Gary Olshan
Special to VegasInsider.com

Clemson at NORTH CAROLINA STATE (Thursday night)...NCS has covered 4 of last 5 in series, including 38-6 smashing in ?Death Valley? LY (Tigers only TD came on KO return). Clemson ?D? was preoccupied with Wolfpack star QB Rivers (season-low 129 YP), which allowed then-frosh RB McLendon (178 YR, 2 TDs) to take full advantage.

Air Force at COLORADO STATE (Thursday night)...Double-revenge-minded AF was hurt by costly mistake in 31-12 series setback LY. Falcs were trailing just 21-12 when they fumbled the 2nd-H kickoff, which was returned for Ram TD to make it 28-12. AF time-tested road dog, 18-9 in role since ?93 (9-4 L5Ys).

Toledo at CENTRAL MICHIGAN...Toledo has held upper hand in this MAC series, taking last 8 vs. CMU (6-2 vs. spread; winning last 4 by avg. 33-pt. margin).

Wake Forest at DUKE...Before LY?s 36-10 loss, Duke had covered 4 straight vs. WF. And LY?s score misleading, as Blue Devils outgained WF 338-224, but were hurt by mistakes. In 1st Q, Deacons scored TDs on 90-yd. return of blocked FG & 29-yd. int. return to go ahead 14-0. Later, a fumbled Duke punt on its own 15-yd. line set up quick Deacon TD drive.

Temple at MIAMI-FLORIDA...Temple scrappy road dog lately, recording 10-4 spread mark last ?00. Miami just 1-7 as DD chalk in Orange Bowl last 1+Ys (0-3 TY).

Illinois at MICHIGAN...UM is 11-5 as DD home chalk since ?00. Wolverines led 45-13 before reserves allowed Illinois to score 2 late 4th-Q TDs in eventual 45-28 victory LY at Champaign.

Arizona State at NORTH CAROLINA...ASU has score to settle after UNC upset Sun Devils in wild 38-35 win at Tempe LY, with ASU PK Barth missing 4 FGs. Tar Heel QB Durant threw for career-high 417 yds. UNC has dropped an incredible 10 straight vs. spread (1-9 SU, only win vs. Duke) in Chapel Hill.

Utah State at NORTH TEXAS...NT has dominated Sun Belt play recently, amassing an 12-2 spread record last 14 in loop.

Texas Tech at OKLAHOMA STATE...OSU in serious triple-revenge mode vs. TT after suffering 3 straight lopsided losses in series. Cowboy HC Les Miles claimed his squad was running on fumes following consecutive battles with Texas, Kansas State, Nebraska and Texas A&M LY. TT was off easy Baylor romp. OSU on current hot spread run, going 10-2 vs. number last 12 on board, while Red Raiders just 3-6 as road dog last 2+Ys.

Navy at RICE...Navy is an eye-poppin? 42-17 vs. spread last 59 away from Annapolis. Midshipmen have 13 Texans on squad.

New Mexico at SAN DIEGO STATE...NM has covered 7 of past 8 in series. And Lobos controlled line of scrimmage in ugly 15-8 win in Albuquerque LY, outrushing SDS 167-30.

Boise State at SMU...Go with vs. go against. BSU is 16-6 as DD chalk since ?98, while downtrodden SMU is bankroll-bustin? 3-12 vs. spread last 15 on board.

Boston College at SYRACUSE...In LY?s rainy/windy affair, Syracuse was tied at half before getting outscored 28-7 in final 2 periods. Orange is 11-4-1 as home chalk since ?00, while BC just 4-8 as road dog over same time frame.

Cal at UCLA...Cal has covered 5 of last 6 vs. UCLA, including upset victories in 3 of last 4 meetings. Bruins were down to 3rd string QB Sciarra due to injuries to 1st two QBs in 17-12 setback at Berkeley LY.

Byu at WYOMING...BYU seems to bring out best in Wyoming, which has covered 6 straight in series. Cowboys led 31-28 in 4th LY before Cougs scored winning TD on 4-yd. pass with just 3:30 to play.

I like several of your early leans and will put betting amounts with them later in the week. Also, I would add Miss. State and Mississippi to your leans...or at least look at them and tell me what ytou think. The only line I have seen for Miss. is a pick.

hit the 1 st "don't laugher" last week..hope it will continue with my tightening the stats to qualify.
this week the spread are TIGHT, however we'll get a feel as the week move along. usually do well in these type of weeks.
here what i'm reveiwing and played:

NAVY-3...probably one of my best bets again..enormous acitivity on this game.

NEW MEXICO STATE-8....what a disappointment this past week..but it comes up big and i'd get on this up to 9 soon..it won't last. ULLay is pititful..lost to ULmonroe past week at home.
.
LSU-5..got this number this morning..Sabin won't lose this one

NORTH CAROLINA ST.-5...don't think Clemson can do it back to back..aleast not against Rivers and company and home. i will say this team covers spreads at a alarming rate,...but not this week

played all these this A.M.
the above are the chalks..i'll get back with the underdogs.

last year asu set a school record in total offense and still lost because of the 4 missed field gboals and 3 or 4 turnovers including two in the redzone last year. UNC put up 38 points against ASU last year and my guess is they wont come close to that this year as ASU figured out how to stop an option qb. ASU 3 losses this year have been too 3 top 25 teams including two on the road and a top 5 team at home... this line should be asu by 10
