What is my best plan to hedge here?

I have Marlins to win the WS 108 to win 692.
I have Yankees to win WS 193 to win 307.

How should I hedge with Boston?

I can take them tonight at -108 or to win the WS at +194.

Help.

Thank you.

It depends what you're looking to do. If you want to guarantee that you will at worst break even, then you would want to put $155 to win $300.70 on Boston to win the Series; if Boston wins it all you will cover the $301 from the other bets but that's it and if NY wins it all you will profit a whooping $45 but at least you know you can't lose.

If you put $174 on Boston to win WS that will pay $337.56 and that will assure positive funds regardless (+$36 if Sox win, +$25 if Yanks win, +$325 if Marlins win). If you're not looking for a guarantee of positive funds but just want to protect a little bit, then you might just want to throw $50 on Boston to win WS.

Any way you do it I would think you'd want to bet Boston to win WS because that's where you're getting far superior odds and they have to win tonight for you to make money on either and if they get there losing to the Marlins would still be your best case scenario.

Hope that makes sense.

GL whatever you do. You're in a good position.
