What a pathetic team, the Ducks flat out don't play as a team. How else do you blow a 3-1 lead against a team that is in their 3rd in 4 nights on the road.

Does Giguere remind you of Theodore last year?? Ducks are a good go against team. Theodore had a great year and then did got his big contract and did not train as much during the summer instead capitalizing on his big year doing appearances and endorsing products. Now you got Giguere who did not sign until the last minute and had a long season last year with the Cup run and had alot of endorsements all summer. We all know what kind of year Theodore had last year so this makes me wonder if Giguere will be the same. Just a thought.

Gotta give the B's some credit, too. Down 3-0 to the Kings and down 3-1 to the Ducks the 1st 30min of both games, only to make a furious comeback to not only tie the games, but to win both. That's 3 straight wins on the western road swing. I'm not sure many teams in the league can do that this early in the season.
Totally agree with you on Giggy. I've gone anti-Ducks all 4 games until tonite, for similar reasons. He was not in game shape, and looked bad in the pre-season. Came to camp late, and slightly over-weight. On top of that, he has to deal with the new goalie pad rules. I was telling Chenks in the season opener that he doesn't look as big as he did in the playoffs. Having said all that, it is extremely hard to sweep a B2B in LA and Ana, especially in that order, and if you add shutting out Dallas a few nite before that, that is quite an accomplishment. With the Quacks hungry for their 1st win of the season, and the reasons above, if the same situation arises again, I'm pretty sure I'd still back Anaheim every time. They had every reason to quit and have a let down game, but they fought hard tonite and beat the percentages, that's all. They deserved the 2 points way more than the Ducks deserve their 1 point.

You make some great points ddubs! Remember the start Boston had last year and then fell apart. They always start the year on the road and now lets see if they can hold up like this until the midway point of the season.
