What do you guys think about sports betting vs. horse betting, is one more profitable. Also i like to play 13 point teasers 4 teams and take the over (football). any opinions?:shrug:

sports are much more profitable, horses are damn near impossible as far as I know, few people win, the juice is ABSURD, the tracks hold like 20% and the payoffs are generally short, but its a fun hobby, sports betting better shot at making money IMO

You will go broke chasing the big score in either (big parlays in sports and superfectas in horses), but grinding out a profit would be easier in sports wagering, just too many variables in horses to be consistent enough IMO.

Spend your time learning to handicap rather than trying to make a buck.

I have never met anyone who's made money betting on horses...sure it's possible, and sure there are some people out there that actually make a living on betting horses..........but that's got to be something like 0.0000000000000000001 % of the population.

I've got friends that go to the track every frekkin' weekend. They try to get me to go but I refuse, we agrue this all the time. But trust me they lose their asses. They are the same friends I have that spend about a hundred a week on lottery scratchoffs tickets. Basically the same odds as far as I am concerned. They are idiots. Poor person tax!!
I know a few gentlemen that have made a fantastic living betting sport's I also know a couple that have done so playing the horses. Believe it or not the most successful person I know who is a professional gambler bet's greyhound's . I grew up with him and have stayed in contact for over 20 year's after high school. It does happen.
Quarter Horses, first race I went to, Wagered across the board, the horse won, collapsed before he made it to the Winner's Circle, heart burst, race was official, drug the horse off with a winch into a trailer....'OLD MILWAUKEE', Palimino, now in horse heaven...Best track betting are dogs, especially at new tracks!!!
