Okay, I want to clarify something. I don't consider myself a capper of NHL, but I do follow the sport and am a numbers/trend guy more than anything. As you can see by my record, money management is NOT my specialty either. Lost a huge play on DAL -160 to account the down units despite the record. Anyway, I've not posted alot, mostly lurk and tail but I have WED at home with my son, so I have a little more time to look into stuff. Here's what I've come up with.... enjoy!

PITT UNDER 5 -120

Like NJ and DET to both win tonite's games easily. My reasoning is in TEDDY's thread, check it if you want, but basically I was thinking of playing this the moment I saw the card, and after checking TGB's thread, it confirmed it.
PITT UNDER is a play because of two struggling offenses BOTH playing not to lose another game. As noted elsewhere, PITT finally gets a win, but then has three days off. NOT GOOD :nono: Would have been better to come back right away, so I'm looking for a very sluggish boring game here.
DAL is playing great DEF, TOR is not scoring period. BELFOUR wants to make a statement in DAL I'm sure, but I don't see TOR winning this game at all. EDDIE may keep his team in it, but the best he's gonna get is maybe a 2-2 tie. I think this will be a very physical game with very few shots, and very few goals.
MJ'S PLAY OF DAY - VANCOUVER. Everybody loves the CANUCKS tonite and for good reason. They are getting a beat up tired STL team who pulled out a huge win last nite in EDM, and VANC has their offense clicking coming off a 6-1 win over BUF on MON. I think we'll see quite a few scored in this one too, but I like VANC to win by at least two in this one. FINAL 5-2 is my call.

I watched both games last nite, THANK YOU TIVO! and I liked what I saw out of ANAHEIM. The letdown vs BOSTON got them chewed out big time and they played very well last nite. The fact that the backup GERBER posted a shutout may be just what GIGGY needs to get his head out. If he thinks he may become the highest paid backup in NHL HISTORY, it may bring out his best. Also, PHILLY was dominated by LA last nite and didn't look good. I know they have some injuries and it was ROMAN's payback game, but if I play this game, it will be backing the DUCKS at home, possibly taking the +1/2 goal since I don't think there are many goals scored in this one. I could see a 2-1 or 2-2 type game here. ANA doesn't have the firepower of LA, but FEDEROV averages 1.25 points per game vs PHILA and he's still looking for his first DUCK GOAL. If he gets hot tonite, it could be a long nite for FLYER backers.
AND THE BIGGIE....

The reason I love this play so much, is of the six games on the board, I can only see two games where we are in real danger of going over 5 goals. I am playing STL/VAN over, and we could get 8 or 9 goals in that game, but still hit this under. Last nite there were also six games and STL/EDM had 10 in their game and the SALAMI landed 31. I had it OVER 30.5! BUT last nite there were 3 games in my opinion that looked good to the OVER. Tonite, just one and I'm on it. In all the games except VANC, there is a HUGE chance that none of them hit 5 goals. The linemakers apparently agrees since there are two games listed at 4.5, two at 5 Under, and two at 5.5. The COL / DET game in my opinion is an UNDER play since I don't think COL gets more than a goal tonite. DET may blast em and score 5 themselves, but I'm not counting on it. Here's how I see the finals of each game.

CAR/PITT 2-2 tie
DET 4-1 over COL
DAL 2-1 over TOR
VAN 5-2 over STL
