game last night.

Once again there is a glaring difference in strength of schedule these 2 teams have played. As Eugene Michaels points out very well quote:

The Yellow Jackets are 4-2-1 ATS this season, and the interesting aspect of this is that they were underdogs in all 4 covers! They continue to get no respect, turning up as a somewhat surprising home underdog here vs. an overrated Maryland team. Sure, Maryland is 5-2, but wins over Duke, Eastern Michigan, and The Citadel do not impress me, especially since they failed to cover against Duke and EMU. While Maryland has gone 2-4 ATS vs. a cream puff schedule, Georgia Tech has beaten the likes of NC State and Auburn, and they narrowly missed shocking Florida State in a heartbreaking 14-13 loss. Save for one bad game vs. a Clemson team that they apparently took too lightly, the Jackets have come to play every week, and I like them to get the outright victory again this evening. unquote.

I was on WVU last night for this reason and of course Wilson's info. I see tonight's game as an almost exact same situation.

GT is home getting points and is a team that has played a much tougher schedule.

I got GT +3 for a medium play and a small ML play at +120

GL all

I noticed you left out Clemson and WVU.

Granted, both of those were home games. And I see your point. Just wanted to point out they have a few decent wins, and there losses came against teams with a combined 1 loss. I like the Terps, but I liked VT too, so you may be right.

the strength of schedule of these two teams looks dead even to me.......lets consider only the 1-A opponents of each team and those opponents 1-A records:

Maryland opps win pct .500

N Illi 6/0 Fla St 6/1 W Va 3/4 E Mich 0/6 Clem 3/3 Duke 1/5.....19/19 .500

Ga Tech opps win pct .500

BYU 3/5 Aub 4/2 Fla St 6/1 Clem 3/3 Vandy 0/7 NC St 4/3 Wake F 4/3......24/24 .500

Jeff,

Not discounting those wins, but I don't think the win over WVU was the same WV team we saw last night, they were coming off a tough 2 pt loss to cincy and got caught by Mayland before a bye week.

As far as Clemson goes I'm not a big supporter of the Clemson is a good or quality team, just my opinion.

I'm still looking at the overall schedule and it looks to me like last night all over again except that GT is not being taken as lightly as WVU had been, but with this line the Terps are getting way too much respect for what they have proven this year.

Like I said last night in a few threads of cappers that I respect, one of us will be happy tonight.

GL:)

Starting out the week 2-0, I think I should quit while I'm ahead:D

Hopefully the weekend will be the same for all of us:)

Great call, ctown.
Yeah, its tough to quit when you're up going into weekend. Hard not to think of increasing your earnings. GL either way.
