This is another email from my neighbor who is serving in Iraq.

I am still alive!
It actually rained this morning!
Still have no plausible mission.
The powers that be still have no clue.
Not only are were taking mortars on a daily basis, we are receiving
many more at one time and rockets are being included.
The higher your rank, the less common sense you have.
More to follow. Nice picture attached!
A captain for ever! Send me home.
Bill

He's told me before that they censor emails. I've tried to send him pic's and web site addresses and they never get through. Usually he reads and sends emails home on his down time, and he's had a few. He was suppose to be home by Thanksgiving, and was recently told his time (and many others) was being extended another 6 months. He is not at all happy about the situation, neither are his wife or kids. He's 51 and in a medical unit, doing a lot with the Iraqi people as well as our servicemen. He's quite exposed to any possible violence. Like I said, he's usually had a few when he emails so they can have an edge to them.
