Last night word came out here in Vegas that the game was being moved.

The Casino Sportsbooks stated that there is a good chance the game would be declared "No Action".

That means all tickets from any time bet would be void and the money refunded.

*****For anyone that bet a parley card:

The minimum is three teams. If the game is "No Action" , if you have less than 3 teams left, you get your money back winning or losing.

Why this?

I had bet a 4 team parley ticket.
BUF
BUF/KC Under
SD
SD/MIA Under

This would revert to a 2 team (if no action) and would be no bet.

Its a losing ticket now unless the SD game is no action, then I get back the money bet. Dont throw away the tickets.

Also,

If there is action,

The Cardinals played the 49ers yesterday. The field will be in real bad condition with no time to fix it.

The Dolphins spent all Sunday flying to San Diego, left their things on a chartered flight, stayed in San Diego and watched the fires around them, and flew today to Phoenix. They will have spent a day and a half in confusion and on airplanes.

This game will be as hard on the Dolphins as it will be on the Chargers.

I am curious to know whether anyone using an offshore service had their open bets canceled for tonights game. I had two open teasers with Miami (+3 1/2) and my service has canceled the play. Quite disappointed. Anyone else experience the same? Thanks.

I contacted my service (Gibraltar) and they gave me the option of either canceling the open teasers (and refunding my money) or playing the remainder of the teasers at the new line of Miami -6.
