cannot believe public is still all over dolphins laying 6.5 on the road (kind of) on mnf--love the fact that griese is starting for mia--as eugene mentioned in his thread, dolphins will be pretty one dimensional, and chargers will be able to match mia on the ground--am licking my chops at the 6.5 for a charger team that will be hyped for this game--

bolts +6.5 -- 5 units (about as big as i go--same as fh play last nt)

bolts +210 -- 1.5 units

also love the fact that certain consensus sites are showing 75-80% on the road fav:eek:

good luck to all

Griese is going to be a bonus, not a handicap. Fiedler has been unable to stretch the field because of his poor accuracy. SS have not respected him at all. Griese has been running with the starting sqad for the last few days and has always gotten his fair share of reps in practice. Miami will finally break out of their offensive slump.

I agree with BigSlick. No matter how bad Griese plays, he will be an upgrade from Fiedler! Why do you think the Dolphins folded last year late in the year? Fiedler is another Trent Dilfer. You just hope he doesn't make the critical turnover that costs you the game. I think he has only done that once this year so far (against Houston, I think).

GL to all.

the game will not be put in the hands of griese to win tonite--he very well may LOSE the game by playing poorly, but he will not WIN the game--that said, regardless of how griese plays, i still love the chargers in this spot--i do not buy into the idea that miami will have a mental or emotional edge due to the fires--chargers are a very live dog here--if the # hits seven, i am buying some more-

not a good night--brees looked confused most of the night, and still they had chances to score--no question though, miami was the right side--only winner was first quarter over--gave back five of the seven units i picked up sunday night--congrats to all phin backers.

Griese looked good last night. Offense is similar to what he had in Denver, great running back, excellent tight end, and pretty good recievers. However, I dont agree with the Fiedler bashers, he is 33-15 as a starter.

And Trent Dilfer has a Super Bowl ring; does that make him a good QB? If so, then why couldn't he find a job the next year and hasn't been a starter since? Just because you have a team that is good enough to overcome your inept playing and still win games does not make you good.

Yeh Fielder is great.

Last night was the most points scored by the Dolphins
in the last 9 games with Fielder at QB.
