LOL. . . not really leaving for good. . . just the end of college football for me this year until the bowls come around. Never really got started and with the Arizona loss and losses the past couple weeks, just doesn't seem worth it anymore until bowl season as I'm simply not making anything and do not want to compound any losses.

For those of you who lost money with me, I'll pay you back in college hoops. Can't wait for the season to begin.

I don't know what it is about college basketball that is just easier. . . maybe the percentages? Does anybody cap college football really well and then give it back in college basketball???

Nickelback...looking foward to your b-ball picks.When the season comes upon us you have to explain your 2nd half plays.I have a friend who loves those plays.
I like capping college football but luv college hoops.I think b-ball is easier esp. if you know the conferences.I love the BE,Conf USA,MAAC,Sun belt and A-10.If I can concentrate on those I'm OK.But I get stupid and start capping SEC,ACC,etc.
Pitino just stole the best player in the country in Telfair from NYC.I saw him play this summer.He's a 5'11 gd that could start for the Knicks right now.And he plays defense.
Louisville got a stud.Another kid leaves the city and bypasses the Johnnies.See you in a month

Hoops,those 2 could carry Marist to the Metro Tourney.We have a player from my HS that plays football for marist.I saw him Sat and he says Monogan is tearing up the practices.Thats the kid that was shot in the jaw lyr at the bar.Just a stray shot.
But Niagara is my sleeper.Could dethrone the jaspers.They are loaded.They could be 9-0 when they meet the Johnnies.

i caught one of telfair's games on satellite (it was toward the end of last season when their team was in the same tournament as lebron somewhere in new york i believe in a maac arena. i forget where, but im sure you know which one)

anyways- it was only one game, but man did telfair let me down. he looked awful. totally forcing his shots and not making good decisions on the break. i came away fairly unimpressed, especially with all the hype he's getting.

to me hes got a long way to go until hes mentioned in the same breath as the nyc elite point guards (the kenny andersons, stephon marburys, etc)

hopefully he blossoms though.
