Atlanta @ Leafs Under 5 1/2 Goals: 2.7 Units to Win 2 Units

Mogilny is back which is bad for the Over as the joker keeps on assisting or scoring He had 2 assists in his last game back.

Previous matchup's with Atlanta are a bit misleading as before this season there was no stress on the word "DEFENCE" in the Thrashers land.

Nurminen has improved a lot in the net and after losing last game to Florida I am sure the Thrashers will come back with a more better effort on defence.

Eddie the Eagle is steallar in the net (other than the Islanders game but his defenceman screwed him big time in that one). Stopped 39 of 40 shots in the game against the Caps. Dont think Toronto gonna allow so many shots on goal to the Thrashers.

Macabe is back from Toronto.

A Lot of other indicators point to the Under for me.

he hee .. . I NEVER PLAY SIDES .. so I shud be the last person who knows about how much money is flowing on which team ..

I just saw 99% of posters at couple of sites on Philly .. so I said .. ridiculous money flowing in on Philly

Seemed the logical line to put in there as my interpretation of that game .. .

same like the "Salami over Trap" line yesterday. Line was outta whack. and when line outta whack bookies win.

somethin does not seem right ..

I see people on the over .. . . . but I would side with Under.

Problem is .. I cannot cap the damn Philly game .. I expect Montreal to play better defence .. Theodore and Hackett both have horrible numbers against Philly and Montreal resp.

Its going to be close .. but I still side with the under .. . in a case like today where u have two games .. one game goes under comfortably is lights out for the salami over . .

better to wait for other days in my opinion.

Hackett as ND mentioned may be pumped up . even though he has allowed 4 goals in last 2 games .. he does have 2 shutouts to start the season ..

and Montreal always rebounds back from a beating ..

I know its confusing but hope this helps .. :shrug:

I'm starting to like the under at Phila.


just can't pull the trigger...

newspapers in both towns say teams focused on good defense early as both teams lost games of late playing catchup to early goals allowed (MTL had to abandon defensive system to do it).


Theo should be strong after bad loss, and Hackett should get it up against former team. but just don't trust Phila/Hackett of late...

yesterday was really screwed up and this is what I had mentioned in my play yesterday .. three games .. totals of 5 .. 5 1/2 and 5 1/2 and the salami set at 14 1/2 .. . assume the bookies know more than ya .. best way to make money ..

Terry: I am wary of Philly right now .. that goaltending is going to cost them in the end.
If at all I had to play .. Philly Team Total Under 3 Goals would be a good bet ..

so would Toronto team total under 3 1/2

I mean .. Atlanta has not allowed 4 goals whole season .. Toronto has scored 4 goals ... let me see how many times .. . atlanta defence much better than washington .. . .

both goaltenders in the philly game have bad numbers against the opposite team .. . I would stay away .. then again anything can happen :shrug:
