Wash St ML +400 - Worth a Look...

I know USC is playing the best ball in the PAC-10 right now, but I like the value on Wash. St. They are the only team that can match up offensively against USC's D.

Thinking of adding them to a few 2 team ML Teasers...

Could be revenge factor. Wash St beat USC last year, to keep them out of the Rose Bowl. I like getting the +12 no matter what. Wash St is a good team with their only loss on opening day. Should be a great game.

Just to let you know, its homecoming for USC, and I have been told the game will prob. get sold out. At least 70k will be there and prob. a lot more. USC players are very focused and WSU players hve been talking trash in the papers.

USC is recovering from injuries and hopefully their best LB Grootegood will be ok (sat out UW game) and hopefully star WR WIlliams ankle will be better. He is gonna try and practice today on the ankle.

Pt1gard, i love your comment about the USC offense, and the scary thing is the offense is just starting to click. There are few more weapons USC has off the bench and watch out for #4 Whitney Lewis. #1 high school recruit last year at WR.

Congrats to Pete Carroll, he just got a verbal from the #1 player in the nation, Jeff Byers, center from CO. Guy had 30 pankcake blocks in "ONE GAME"

This game will hinge on the running game of WSU if they can run the ball efectively they will be in the game, if they can't this will be a blow out.

I think the game gets decided on what the WSU defense does. If WSU blitzes Lienart (who is not mobile) they hve chance to stop the USC offense. I am positive if WSU does not put pressure on Lienart, USC will score 30-50pts easily.

I agree WSU usually brings a pretty heavy dose of blitzing, last week in the first half against OSU they blitzed alot. This also unfortunately leaves the corners in one on one with Williams & colbert.

I dont put much credence in trends, but do appreciate all input. I'm not discounting the ability of USC. I noted that they are playing the best ball in the PAC 10. WHAT I DID SAY was that at +400, the ML is a good valus. Would I be willing to place anything susbstantive on it? No. Will I place a small amount on it and put it in some other 2 team teasers with other moneylines? You bet.

If anyone looking to do what I plan on doubts the value, ask yourself if you'd lay -575 on USC?

unfortunatly there are a lot better bets where you can get 4-1 then taking wsu this weekend. USC should have no problem
