I like playing against teams who played the night before, when they play a fresh team. Tonight the play would be on the Celtics.
Problem is I feel the line is too high tonite.
I had the line capped to 6. So i feel I have a few options.
Make a 5 point teaser with another side.
Or bet the first half, or wait and bet the second half.
My question is do you guys think the Heat are more liable to start slow in the first half or fold in the second half?

you sound kinda mixed up and unable to focus.

Duh the season just started yesterday. Why don't you watch a few games before you lose your money ?

Good luck

Not an NBA guru by any stretch of the imagination, but IMO it is too early to play this type of trend. It's usually a good play because fatigue is a factor, but that shouldn't be a factor at all in the 2nd game of the season. That said, Miami is B-A-D bad this year and so would not be surprised in the least to see them get taken to the woodshed tonight. But Boston is also a bit of a scary team; they lost their season opener SU to the Bulls (one of the 3 road wins the Bulls got all year). So personally I'd lay off this one.

Scott,

That is very amusing considering that it was you who legendarily reversed himself 3 times on last year's Rams-Raiders game.

Thanks for the info Johnny. Actually I always had good results with this trend over the years early in the season because most of the nba guys don't have their legs under them yet..
I'm noticing the line started alot lower, so based on that Im guessing alot of the smart money came in on the celtics early.
Im guessing this game will land on 6 or 7 tonight. May Pass

lester,
its been my experience that real
early in the season, teams that played
the night before do run out of gas
in the 2nd 1/2. these players are still
getting into shape.

Dallas and San Antonio are also playing on consecutive nights. You may want to give Denver and Golden St a look;)

sorry I was trying to be funny.

Me too :D :D

Point taken, though. You've taken more than your fair share of sh*t for that blunder. Sorry, you just came off as sounding pretty harsh. I know you were joking around, but somebody new to the site doesn't.

Thru the years I've picked up on some really good NBA cappers on the net, excluding Jacks. One of them has Bos as his play of the day and another one has Mia. Does that tell you something? Think I would find another game or maybe the under. Mia can't score but this total is awfully low.

Lester came into my thread in another forum and was being funny so I was just showing him that funny is as funny does :D

Hey Johnny remember this ?
...................................................................
OK, I've never posted my picks before, but I'm gonna give it a try and see how I do. Ideally, I'm going to try and find 1 game a day where I think there's value.

And by the way, any and all comments/criticisms/contrarian opinions/slander/your mama jokes/outright b$tch-slappings are welcome , as I'm trying to get better at this capping game. And when we each get better, we ALL get better.

Peace,
John

That's usually because it ends up in your signature line.
