Well it had to come sometime and the Overism certainly hit ALL GAMES yesterday .. Since there were couple of threads popping up about low scoring games. I will register Spock's complaint for the record about too many high scoring games.

YTD 30-15-1 +35.75 Units

Going with

Carolina @ Rangers Under 5 Goals: 4 Units to Win 2.75 Units

Adding:

Leafs @ Sabres Under 5 Goals: 2.5 Units to win 2.08 Units

Adding

Florida Team Total Under 2 Goals: 3.6 Units to Win 3.0 Units

Weekes has been very good lately. So has Dunham @ home. Rangers allowing an average of 1.34 goals per game @ home. Rangers are the only team in the league to not score a PP goal.

Carolina did score a lot on the Sharks but I think their scoring drops today. Lindros out for Rangers.

I have a lot of angles supporting the Under. I think this one ends in a pretty low scoring game.

hi Spock, I just did a random check on your YTD record...
just took a look at yesterday's picks...
and already it was wrong.

These were your picks from yesterday.....

Florida under 4.5 = Lost // - 2 units
Flodira under 4.5 = Lost // -1 units

Wash U2.5 = Win // +2.1 units
Wings U5 = Lost // -2 units

you add up all these and you get -2.9 units and 1-3

so your YTD record should be 30 - 16 - 1 // +33.75 units
NOT 30-15-1 // +35.75 units.

if you decide to keep an YTD record, please put in effort to make sure it's correct, or else people will start wondering about the validity of your record.

BTW, today is thursday, not friday!

Need to say something here :

I had placed a bet for $275 to win $250 on the Miami/Boston Under 86 1/2 Points for second half @ Olympic.

The bet won by 1 point and I assumed a loss of $40 on my plays today since I went 1 - 2 in hockey.

I clicked on the "Review Wagers" button on Olympic and saw profit of $160. Could not understand this so I checked carefully.

It seems that in my haste to get the Caps play in on time and trying to cook dinner for my girlfriend I forgot that I had not bet on the game which starts @ 7:30. I capped it but I forgot to put the play in. I am really sorry to anyone who may have followed (I hope no one did) this play.

I will put it as a loss in the record .. . but needed to get this out .. Have not changed it in the units becoz i follow the books account balance for my units (avoiding confusion for me).

30-15-1 . .. . .. AND I HAVE MENTIONED THE REASON WHY I HAVE NOT CHANGED THE UNITS .. .

As I said before .. . Get the Facts Straight Before Trying to Correct People .. .

and regarding the validity of the record: I try my best - and I know how much my bankroll is ... took me 10 mins to type this and I could be capping.

Great start to season. This is a great forum. Wish I would have found it 4 years ago instead of just last year. I don't blindly follow picks, I make my own and do quite well. I do however like to read many posts to see if there is information i missed or if I can learn more. Like all gambling, sports is a forever learning curve. You must always check your styles and stay current. You can stick up for yourself so I wont say much. Don't let this guy with 4 posts come into your thread and bash get you down. I'm sure it won't. Probably someone who couldn't cap a game with tomorrows newspaper. I doubt you were trying to fudge a record 1 unit when you are already up 30. Contribute something then bash baby iverson.

Spocky has been the total king for the couple years I've been here. His record speaks for itself. Before you start trashing here in the box, you should at least be bringing something to the table. Please keep that nitpicking crap out of the box...Sometimes some of us go head to head in here - sometimes it gets heated but it's usually hockey related and threads don't get locked by the administrator.

just that if you want to keep an YTD record, do it RIGHT. or else might as well not.

you really need to put in some efforts keeping your YTD correct.

I checked the last 2 days. and both days you calculated your YTD units WRONG.

Tuesday YTD: +31.33 // Won +5.21 = +36.54 => but you inflated to +36.65

Wednesday YTD: -2.9 Units, but you only counted -0.9 Units.
your posted YTD record should be 30-15-1 +33.64

BTW, I only did two days checking for you.

I have mentioned that I could not get the Wings bet in yesterday and am not counting it in the units bcoz its convenient for me to match it with my own book's records.

and regarding the difference betn 36.65 .. have u ever heard of rounding ????

For instance .. u have won 114.98 .. . I list it as 1.14 units .. but the books do keep track of the 98 cents ..
