the nba has formally announced that the cleveland cavaliers have been awarded an automatic birth into the first round of the nba playoffs...it was originally planned that lebron would just play for the lakers once the playoffs started, but the idea was nixed by "KOBE and SHAQ".....

espn spokesman stuart scott hailed the decision as "visionary,dog".....

it was decided that it was unfair to lebron to not make the playoffs just because he was drafted by a bad team.....

all lebron....all the time....or as "double S" would say...."BRON BRON".....:soapbox:

ESPN is doing the same thing with James that they have done with Tiger Woods. Shoving him down our throats till we can't stand it. I for one am tired of it already.

saw King James last night live at AWA- probably the best player on the court (although Stoudamire is a stud, too) and definitely more oohs and ahhs than any other player- the kid id special

S-Love , I'm not saying he's not special. I just get tired of the over hype of certain athletes. Example with Tiger. ESPN will lead in with Tiger 3 shots down. I don't give a shit where Tiger is, tell me who's leading. That should be the lead in. And it seems to me they are doing the same thing with LeBron.

is absolutely right...the kid is special......but,the hype is so incredible,it`s almost becoming absurd.....no matter how good, that`s alot of pressure to put on a 19 year old...

as for stuart scott.....he`s about as "street" as regis philbin.... :D

I think some people tend to take the publicity out on the person. Blame ESPN's lame-ass producers for not having the balls to show what's real sports fans want to see.

After the one game I saw (his opener), I am ready to see how this guy develops. What I am not ready for is him getting blowjobs from every sports anchor on TV.

I would rather listen to a game commentated by Bill Walton than watch Stuart Scott give any kind of dialogue.
