How can you disable the hiding of selections on the drop down menus.

The guy who wrote the software must have thought this was great but I think it sucks.

It is bad enough that they are hidden when you don't use them for a period of time, but sometimes the hidden menu items are inverted so that the used menu items are hidden and the not so frequently used items are shown. What was wrong with showing all of them all of the time

Any help would be appreciated.

No Monk. The primary toolbar with File, Edit, View, etc.

In Internet Explorer when I click on Favorites and the menu drops down, there are some choices missing (the ones that have not been used in a while). I want to make alll of the choices visible alll of the time.

This is the same for Word, Excel, etc.
Thanks.

i'm not sure i follow you.

anything in your favorites drop down list should be there all of the time. i've never heard of any files disappearing from there before.

what operating system are you using?

dog are you talking like in Word how it will hide most selections?

If thats it go to Tools, Customize, Options and select "Always Show Full Menus"

In IE - depending on the version - under Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, Browsing - there is an option like "Close unused folders in Favorites" something like that. Make sure it is unchecked. You will need to restart your PC after changing that option.

Figured it out. You have to uncheck Enable Personalized Favorites Menu.
