Please explain to us squares why Miami? I looked at this line and couldn't believe BG is getting 7 at Olympic right now. . . do they have an injury that I don't know about? Looks like BG has played the better teams up to this point and Miami hasn't played a solid opponent yet IMO. Thanks bud and gl.

i just grabbed the falcons at (+7) for 2 units.
this situation would have favored miami more if this was a game last weekend. everything ive read from various sources indicates this game is not overlooked by bowling green. i think it will go back down and settle at -6/-6.5. miami is friggin good, but i grabbed the points for reasons ill post later.

I put you on my AOL list so hopefully I'll catch you on sometime tomorrow as I really want to know what I'm missing and respect your opinions. . . looking a little more into this game and it looks like the perfect setup for Vegas to take a chunk of money as long as Miami Ohio covers. . . BG has been in the public eye a little more than Miami and they are ranked while Miami fell a little short. Home unranked favorite rule applies here and stronger than I've ever really seen in college football as they are favored by 7 points!
Still, the other side of me looks at this as a value pick. . . BG has had over a week to get over the big win and focus on this one. . . they need this win or else the victory over NIU means nothing. Miami on the surface hasn't played really anyone except Iowa first game of the year and they lost by a decent margin. Coming off an 8 point win over Kent State, looked suspect in their secondary, as a 23 point favorite. . . were they looking ahead? Probably so but their other results do not really impress me as most blowouts are against bigtime scrubs like Buffalo.

Wanted to add that you guys were right. . . Vegas released this game FIRST at 3.5. . . but most books took that up to 7. Whether it was bet up initially and the books had the warning we may never know.

this contest--kind of sucks. Never make a play in the Mac without your insight on the game. Read the article last week regarding Toledo vs. Buff---made great sense, and their offense was unstoppable. Game would of been worse but that Kicker for Buff was solid. Back to this contest, i don't have instant message but really would like to hear your thoughts on this game. How u predict it will play out, High scoring?? Any chance of a write-up tommorrow??
