important (and basic) computer question...please help....

not as computer literate in this area as i should be.

i need to send something that is typed on a Word Perfect 10 Document (basically just a word processing think like Microsoft Works) and i need to take that work and convert it into a file that I can include into an email so someone can receive the work and open it up.

im sure it is basic, but i am clueless

If you have aol, you can send it as attachment. There should be a check at the bottom of it to include an attachment, type the name of the file in and attach it, if you dont have aoi Im sorry I dont know

yes, i typed it on word perfect. now i need to take it from word perfect and get it into an attachment on email and i dont know how.

however he can open it is up to him, i dont know what he has. probably not word perfect though.

ok, that's what i was thinking...that he probably has Word and wouldn't be able to open the WP doc.

Open up your doc and click File, Save As...,

Under 'Save as type:' choose Word Document from the pull down menu.

Open your e-mail and find the attachments link to send it. Don't tell me you've never sent an e-mail attachment before.
