You just proved why this game is so tough to beat. Excellent analysis and great justification for wagering on Bowling Green yet a dismal loss.
I blew my largest wager of the week last week on Memphis against East Carolina. Would still make the same bet again.
Funny thing is I planned to bet Miami big in this game before I knew the pointspread. Was (and still am) puzzled by the high line and ended up making a lesser bet than I planned just because I was thrown by the odds even though I fully expected Miami to win by more than seven.
All kind of ways to lose (and lose out) in this biz but still love the challenge and fortunately there's always another game to shoot for.

its the retards on this site and elsewhere that say "he just typed out all that in support of bowing green and they lost by 23"
apparently, they dont take the time to realize that i spent damn near HALF of my write-up talking about how GOOD miami is.
you can train a monkey to point to a team in the newspaper, then you write a few words on the game and if it wins- does that make you a genius? no. conversely, if you write a few words on a game and it doesnt work out are you suddenly an idiot? nope. i just know im going into the battle each week amred with sound logic to win more than i lose. as long as i do that, im happy.
im not one of those guys who when i bet a game convinces himself that "the team i bet on is great. and my opponent sucks".
thats stupid and hazardous to a bankroll.
ive known the entire season how good miami is, i bet on em as a strong play earlier this season in northwestern.
just felt bgsu would be prepared yesterday and take it to the wire. a sloppy effort from bgsu combined with an aggressive miami team resulted in the 33-10 final.

why is madjacks so full of people talking smack?
i dont go into peoples threads causing trouble. i go to try and learn something about betting on sports.it's clear that there are people at madjacks who have forgotten more than i will ever know about betting. i guess i had to get sucked into the petty squabbling without even trying to. i meant no offense.
