WASH +7
ORLANDO Under 180.5

Two plays so far... taking the WIZ KIDS at home vs DALLAS in this one. So far WASH has played fairly well, but I mainly like this game because they are playing Defense, and more of a half court game, which if DAL gets slowed down by this, should take them out of their helter skelter run and gun attack. I think WASH hangs with this team to the end.

Second play is AGAINST the line move, but how can you play these two pathetic shooting teams to go OVER??? Both teams have only managed to hit for 40% FG shooting in one of four games so far. Overall CHI is hitting less than 32% and ORL a robust 35.3%. I'm sorry, both teams may suck defensively but it take about 200 shots for the game to get this one OVER 180, which won't happen, unless they've already decided to foul on every possesion. I could be wrong here in betting the obvious, but please.... no OVERs for me with these two teams.

Be back in a bit... good luck!

CLEV +1 & UTAH +8 4.5 PT TEASER

I can't see laying pts with a young volatile team like the CAVS, but vs the woeful NUGGETS, I can't see them losing the home opener either. With the teaser, all I gotta do is win baby, and I think LEBRON and CO get that done at least. They will probably cover this number, but better safe than sorry.

I see alot of people on PHOENIX tonite and I'm still not sure why? UTAH played well in preseason, are playing well right now, are at Home and facing a SUNS team that is coming off a heartbreaking loss to the LAKERS on SAT. UTAH has already knocked off two playoff teams at home against PORT and MINN, and now they are a dog at home vs the 1-2 SUNS??? Granted. SUNS have lost to SPURS and LAKERS, but come on now... give this JAZZ team some credit. Because I respect the cappers on this board as much as I do, I'll not play them straight up as of yet, but I'm definitely liking my chances with 8 pts!

GL Rander. . . Phoenix is coming off two close losses to the defending champs and the best team this year in the Lakers (at least that's what everyone thinks including the players). I think they come in focused to get their first win of the year so laying 3 isn't a big ordeal for me. Call it the due theory. . .

See you for the halftimes!

Good call Rander. . . not sure how the hell I forgot about the Cleveland game except it wasn't up where I looked at stats for this game. . . anyways, when I saw the line I was surprised the Suns were favored so I decided to bite on it. . . we'll see what happens.

ALL DOUBLE PLAYS!!

Look, MEMPHIS is off a HUGE home win over the CHAMPS, I see some of the HANGOVER effect happning here. PORT has been disappointing and although they may be missing WELLS, I see them taking it to the GRIZZ tonite. PORT has pretty much owned this team at home, and they like to take care of patsies, which MEM still is.

GOLDEN ST are lacking players, but not heart. I watched them trade punches with PHILLY the other nite and they never let up despite playing with 7 players. They got waxed by the LAKERS, but who hasn't??? LA is the shite... bottom line. TALK all you want about the bickering and legal probs, but NOBODY is beating LA this year. NO... they wont' go undefeated, but I dont' see anyone stopping them anytime soon. They are playing the best TEAM BALL I've ever seen in the NBA. So the WARRIORS losing huge to this team means nothing.

ATL hasn't proved they can win on the road, and I see DUNLEAVY and company taking care of BIZ in OAKLAND.
