Why is it that VT gets all this hype? Going into Miami game they were 1-6 L7 SU vs The Big 4 of The Big East (Pitt, WV, Miami, Syra). Now, I called the VT win last week because I thought Miami may be walking into a hornets nest. They did...now VT is still 2-6 SU over the past 8 games.

Pitt has been somewhat of a disappointment this year...but, reality is this....Pitt is still undefeated in conference play...they are playing at home and at night. Heinz Field will be electric. Pitt has absolutely owned VT. Big Bonus for us Pitt backers.....VT's Hall is being suspended for first half....which brings us to the obvious question...who is going to guard Fitzgerald?????? Pitt getting 5 at home is a very obvious overlay from their victory over Miami. Pitt to the bank.

Tennessee...As I have said all year...Miami is very overrated..they lack skill positions players (QB and TB)....I couldn't believe my eyes that Tennessee was getting this many points...hell, I expect Miami to lose straight up!

Absolutely, Brock Berlin is HIGHLY overrated; the fact is that both Berlin and Payton are average college football players.

Like both of your plays, GL:weed:

Really like your Tenn play and as you already know I've been coattailing your plays lately except for the Vt play over Miami:(

But have to admit I was all set to make VT one of my big plays this week until I saw this:confused:

I'm figuring that VT had their letdown against WVU and coming off the big win againt Miami, they would be sky high knowing they still have a shot at the Big BCS ring.

I know Pitt has played them tough the last few years, but your really feel in this spot they can cover and even win SU:eek:

Pitt is susceptible to the run...which is VT's strength. I expect Walt Harris to load the box and make Vick/Randall beat them in the air. I think he learned how you stop VT by watching the scheme WVU used.

Don't underestimate emotion....VT screwed each remaining member of the BE....with it being a night game it just adds to that point.

Pitt is so explosive...a lopsided Pitt win would not surprise me...but, I'll take a 4 point Hokie win. Good Luck to ya Ctown!!

Wison, I also agree with you on Pitt. Pitt is a big play especially with VT off the big win in which they were dominated in the stats department.

With you adding the ND pick, I can't help but think back to ND putting a hurting on Pitt at home, at night, earlier this year. I would take Pitt all day with the points tomorrow but I just keep thinking back to the ND game and can't pull the trigger. Any thoughts to Pitt not being able to win "the big game"??? Not to mention, ND's win at Pitt?

Wilson,

You were sounding real good on Pitt and Tenn with your write ups and I agree with you on both. But, you disappointed me by throwing in Notre Dame with no explanation. I bet Navy +9.
The Irish will have a difficult time covering that spread against a very fired up Navy crew.
Always read your input,
Good luck,

Joe,

I think ND big boys wear out Navy upfront....it may be close 1st half with the emotion of Navy...but, I think ND wins it going away in 2nd half. Similar to when ND played Air Force last year. Good Luck

Am with on Pitt, and a somewhat lesser amount on the Vols, but I think you're on the right side on both of them. Good luck

Good going again Wilson. Had Tennessee and the points.

Im going to put a play on Pitt, but not too much. Seems like a ton of services have Pitt which makes me nervous. Panthers have certainly taken some action at the books. Ill take them +4 for 2 units....Im not a big fan of Rutherford, but hoping for a big game from him.
