Great job, bud. Looks like the system is finally heating up. Time to get on a run. Now if the Avs can get their heads out of their asses, I might actually have a rare winning nite:eek:

Good luck, dude:D. I'll send you a mail after the Laker game. Got a couple of nice doggies I'm looking at tomorrow:cool:

good luck Chenk! have a good time!

good luck Chenk! have a good time!

you can get -1/2 lines and overnite lines at all Coast casinos (Barbary coast on strip, Gold Coast, Orleans, and Suncoast off strip, and Plaza downtown, and Renata's in Henderson). 20 cent line.

all Station Casinos offer the -1/2 and ml on all high odds games, close low odds games they usually just offer a 1/2 line

best overall lines I've seen are the Cal-Neva, Palms and Harrah's/Rio.

be sure to shop for lines if you take anything big, they can vary a lot in LV---many books can care less about NHL and some don't move lines much. A big fave that moves up all day offshore---you can get a better line in LV at places like Aladdin or Hard Rock.

only 20 or 30 cent lines in LV.

Cal-Neva (lines out of Reno) you can get at Tuscany Casino (a mile east of strip down Flamingo Road) and at Thirstbusters or Club Fortune in Henderson. These are among the best

Cal-Neva and Palms only places I know that offers two NHL betting options, -0.5 puck line and moneyline. nice to mix for some parlays..overall best lines I've seen for hockey are Harrah's (includes sister property Rio) and that Cal-Neva line.

Palms is only casino that offers any daily prop bets, and then not often. Big televised games. They do have the Grand Salami (Rio/Harrahs and El Cortez only other ones offer this) and Palms only place to offer daily road/home team line.

Palms also let me put Salami in an 8-way parlay!

for moneylines in Hockey: Boyd Gaming properties (Stardust, Sam's Town, Fremont and the California), MGM properties (MGM, Golden Nugget, Bellagio, Treasure Island, Mirage), Harrah's and Rio Casinos, Hard Rock (breaks from ml to -1.5 puck line at -300, and 30 cent line, but they don't move them hardly at all and you can get some of best prices for big favorites here).

to watch a game, I like the IP and Barbary Coast. You can sit just a few feet from a big screen at eye level. Not one far away you gotta crane your neck and squint your eyes. or Venetian, which also has excellent cocktail service, free if you made a decent bet (tho they don't even check that often).

that's more info than you needed!

have fun!

Tho Stations will have a "key" game sometimes, where you can bet a higher limit---something us hi-rollers need to know!!

Palms started going for NHL bettors just a short time ago. As they can't take NBA bets in their place due to ownership of the Sac Kings, they wanted to punch up sportsbook business somewhat, and their handle on NHL has increased in recent years anyway. But owner Maloof has spoke to Bettman about buying the Ducks, so the NHL betting might end there too.

Harrahs/Rio use a line out of North Nevada like Tuscany. In this case, Harvey's, and their dog prices are usually as good as Cal-Neva, sometimes better.

so I used to finish up my handicapping at Gold Coast during weekday when that fine old Jazz band plays. put in measly $5 to get a free drink ($20 at Palms and better drink--outrageous $100 bet needed for drink ticket at Rio!), walk across street to shop lines at Palms and across other street at Rio. Sometimes take free GC shuttle to Barbary on Strip, and stroll mile down to Tuscany.
