That was a frightening performance by a horrible player. I agree, this starry-eyed gutless punk was completely ill-prepared for tonight's game. There's a reason he lost his job to a rookie in pre-season (to a rookie!) and we saw it tonight. What really pissed me off about this Redman horror show was seeing the kid on the sidelines several times (after bad plays) showing NO reaction, no anger, no disgust, no disappointment. The look on his face said it all -- "I'm still getting paid for being an NFL quarterback. Boy, do I have those suckers fooled."

This fukcstick cost the Ravens the game. Had he played at Spurgeon Wynn's level, the Ravens might have won, and certainly would have covered.

Holy fukc, I've spent all this time writing this post, and I'm still venting.

Find out where the kid lives and grab a gun.

LD, assinine post

Bet what you want to bet, regardless.
You, yourself are accountable. Bottom line.

As for Redman....

I had a hard time saying this, and a harder time typing it.

I , we , "baltimore", lost this game when the worst STARTING qb in the league went down to injury. ugh.

oh, and the turnovers.

I've actually FOUND ways to lose in the NFL this year. In ways never before possible, and in ways that define and set NFL records. sheesh.

Whats worse? I know Im not the only one.

Ix I agree it was an assanine post but no worse than the previous.. Find out where he lives and get a gun? I was trying to bring light to how dumb that statement was. From one of the best writers on this website. I respect Nolan bigtime, but that was rediculous. Him wanting Redmond shot, is the same as someone who may follow blindly on some peoples picks and wanting to shoot them for their bad days.
Think about it.

Its a battle, the heat of the moment. If (when, I pray never) that we get to "That guy on the internet made me do it" then well, I say spend it. Spend everything you got, all I left ya, and I hope I'm six feet deep - hell make it eight -

Im more than sure thats all Nolan meant by his post.

I made worse, much worse, statements about Chris in my living room. If the two guys there were on the payroll.....

Bottom line, you follow anyone's picks blindly, you will lose.

NOLAN'S REPLY:

If you have been reading my posts and reports for any length of time, you know I make a lot of outlandish statements. Obviously, many are meant in jest (not the bottles thrown on the field statement though -- I stand by that one!)

I suppose the "get a gun" statement is much like the Maryland Governer's wife making the comment that she'd like to "shoot" Brittany Spears. Certainly, that was not meant to encourage her death, but I totally understand and AGREE with the point she was making.

Chris Redman will never read this board. Even so, I'm not too worried about his feelings or the threat of a wacko going out and killing him. Never in sports history has such a thing EVER happened (disgruntled bettors).

Regarding my responsbility, I certainly have made some bad picks. No question about it. But I'm not paid $2 million a year and I never got a $3 million signing bonus. When you assume the title of pro multi-million dollar athlete, such criticisms go with the territory. We have a different standard for the pro millionaire as opposed to a "RudY" like figure playing college football for some minor division school.

Futhermore, when I lose, I get angry about it. I care deeply about what I am doing and am extrmely ticked off when things do not go according to plan. Not to compare myself to Redman (although you did), I saw none of that fire in his eyes or on his face at ANY point tonight. All I saw was someone who will soon be out of football, and with good reason -- since he cost the Ravens a ball game tonight. For what it's worth, I had a huge wager on the Ravens in the 2Q, at +3 and smaller wagers on them in the other quarters. So, Redman's god-awful performance really didn't cost me much tonight.

Its not personal, just business.

"the bunker"
i have to chime in

i have to chime in

i agree...that was a terrible performance from redman...and probably boller`s best performance this year.....i just came from a board where someone was reaming boller for being a pussy...truth is,the guy`s been playing banged up all year...he`s no pussy....

last year, redman was the starter early and actually started looking like a decent qb until his back injury....if you`ll recall,he had a damned good performance in one of the night games(denver or cleveland...i forget)....

well, this year he figured to be the starter until boller got his "sea legs"....but,billick,decided he didn`t want to wait for boller to mature....a lot went on behind the scenes down here, and as it played out, redman`s confidence has been shattered...

well,we in b`more have suffered along with the ravens and boller through the first eight games this year....this was bollers best performance thus far....that included stumbling over offensive linemen and bouncing the ball off running backs that he was trying to fake to...for us,this was sublime....

not trying to take any of the focus off the redman debacle...it was very bad.....

word is that redman is done in b`more and has taken a job up in frisco introducing gerbils back into the wild......

that`s some price to pay for one bad performance....

WOW, I stopped watching the game, and I am glad I didn't see what happened from the sounds of it.
