I'm sorry... but if you played KINGS UNDER or CLIPS OVER and think you did the "right thing" because you won, you are soo very wrong... both games were completely dictated by refs and if you happened to be on both those and won, I suggest a hefty TITHE to the LORD for blessing you, cause it was all crap!!! :nono: I watched both games, and yes, lost both totals while hitting both sides, but in both games, the refs were terrible. In SAC TOWN you could do anything short of attempted murder without a call and in CLIPPER town, they call two fouls with shots involved without taking a tick off the clock when NEITHER was even a foul! KINGS got nailed going to the rim at least three times late and no CALL!!!!!!! BUT damn, if you breathe too much on someone in STAPLES it was 1 and 1. Pitiful.... so if you won, good for you, thank GOD He was looking out for you and give Him his tithe this Sunday because HE earned it.... terrible shit at end of both games.

Dude, u are wrong, u are a sore loser, and the type of loser gambler anonymous is for. I told u Detroit was controlling that game, detroit plays a slow down defense and offense always does, always will. I am not trying to knock u or anything but I was on the right side of those games w/the stats, and that is all I read. You were talking about wallace being out in that sacramento game, hell he was out the 1st half, what makes u think the game was gonna change.

Look CG... answer me this.. .did you watch the games as I did, or were you peeing your pants watching your monitor... let me know. The FACT you won both your plays mean little, I watched the end of both games and if the calls go the other way in both, you're suddenly a so-so 3-3 and not tooting your horn and I'm the GRAVY... am I pissed, yes, because my complaints are valid. I have both games on TIVO saved if you want footage. I'll certainly oblige you with emailed footage to document my vent... but your comment about GA and all was uncalled for, and if I hear any thing close to that from you in the future, it better be warranted.

To somewhat justify my complaint.... I played HUGE on the late games because I was able to watch each one with knowledge. I have not always been able to do that. I STILL feel I capped each game correctly, (look at last 3 min of each to verify) but bad luck got me hard. I'm more pissed because I had a losing nite tonite DUE to HT plays, my normal strong suit, and the fact I trusted a valued CAPPER here on the first two NBA plays.... both losers. My ownn fault, my plays, but it doesn't help to have someone point out what a genius he is, and how I'm not.

CG... I feel an apology from you is warranted, if I don't get that, well let's just say... I can STILL PEE my name in the snow though I live in CALIFORNIA!

But Rander, you seem like you bet NBA enough to know that AT LEAST half of the sides/totals are decided on flukey things like that. These types of losses happen every damn night, and 75 percent of plays could go a different way based on refs, last second shots, teams missing free throws, teams falling asleep with big leads, so on so forth. So I'm not sure how you can say all that.

DID I suggest GAMBLER's ANONYMOUS for him :nono:. If & when if you look at his posts, you will see no analysis, just a pick, so after fifteen coin flips, heads has come up, well great for him. Does that mean I don't respect his opinion, by no means, but he hasn't proven jack to me, he's been good for a few weeks. If his record is still good come Christmas, he may have my respect, but I've been here for four years and I don't have to PROVE myself to no one... if you play my plays in NBA 2H overall, you'll not be selling your car to pay your man come APRIL. His 5X HUGE plays are more representaitve of a chasing fool bound for GA than any of my posts. I was able to watch all the games I picked tonite, a luxury in the NBA, so I was more confident. Did I win em all, no? But does that make me a bad capper needing GA, please!

Look I started this thread because it's the best way to beat the NBA, and I'll put myself up against anyone who thinks they can beat me on a consistent basis. If CG wants to post records by UNITS the rest of the way this year, I'm game. I'll put myself up against anyone on the NBA HT..... I'm very consistent. I'll hit my 4-0 nites and have my 1-5 nites, but the bottom line is units and mine will be in the plus.

SO CG... if you wanna suggest that you're "THE MAN", lets go in here, heads up. I'll post my plays, you post yours, and we'll settle up in JUNE wherever! I'll be in VEGAS in JULY bowling... that may be a good hookup!

BTW... I'm not starting anything with you.... let me make that clear. You apologize for your comments regarding the need of GA because of my venting, and all is good. If you don't to admit how ignorant of you that was, well then, we have a prob. Hope we don't.... let me know either way. I started a team without "I"'s and was hoping to keep it that way... but I'll gladly step aside and keep my thoughts to my own thread if that will better serve your purposes.

No matter what... I'll be around. BTW... check my NHL thread... just for kick~

The personal stuff and insults are between the two of you. My point was that your complaints about the losses, and stating that others were sooo lucky to win, were patently ridiculous.

When you guys butted heads on the plays, you basically told him :nono: and that you had it nailed, then when he was right, you talked about how lucky it was and how you had the right side, etc. I can't blame him for being irritated.

Wow. Where did all of this stuff come from? We never had this kind of BS in the HT thread. Rander and countinguy are both excellent NBA bettors. We should be beyond this crap.

The point is, the right side is winning and the wrong side is losing. Case closed. There is no middle ground. Bad beats and BS is just a part of the package. We all have our horror stories and sometimes when it rains it pours. I know that because that's how it has gone for me the past year or so.

Everyone is here to help each other out so the other stuff shouldn't matter. We all need to vent at times, but there is no need to direct that venting toward anyone else. We are responsible for our own actions. I say that because I have lost 20 units in just a few days and it's because I do nothing but chase now. If this was 2 years ago, I would have never allowed myself to do this. All of the discipline and restraint I once had is gone and it's become too costly and aggravating for me to keep doing this. Granted, I still bought a house, have some coin in the bank, blah blah blah, but this just isn't worth it. I have lost respect for money and the handicapping and simply action bet. I had friends that used to do this and I saw them go on "payment plans" because they couldn't pay their book anymore. Not for me.

Anyhow, I wish everyone the best of luck as you all are solid cappers. I'm sure that I'll be back again some day, but it's time to prioritize.

Look... I'm over this, I don't care. I DID NOT get personal with anyone... I didn't know who played what, I don't look before I post my plays... I put up what I think, and if the team agrees, great, if not oh well. Rarely do I play something when others are on it, because quite frankly, rarely does anyone give a reason for what they are playing. Was I upset, well hell yes I was becasue the SAC game was huge for me. I had SAC & OVER in the game and at HT. I was watching the game and in the last few minutes there were several fouls that were not called. The refs were letting them play hockey basically and nobody was going to the line. And then after the BIBBY non-call, DET goes down and basically just drops the ball and they give it back to DET. IF SAC gets the ball there, DET fouls them, no question in my mind. The game ended up landing on the number for SAC, just made it over for the game, and it falls 1.5 pts Under for 2H, and SAC was 3.5 pts from covering the 2H. In the CLIPPER game it was the opposite, with under 2 minutes to go, the under could still stand 6 pts. They score 19 pts in less than 2 minutes! Every ticky tack foul was called and both were in the penalty. If you had just watched all the non-calls in the SAC game, and then watched this as I did, I think most people would be upset.

Anyway, if you watched that SAC game, and had UNDER and don't feel lucky, well I'm sorry... I must be the idiot then. There are peope in this forum I respect, and again, I never vented at anyone in particular, but it sure would be nice if SOMEONE objectively looked at the posts, CG is the one who got personal. WHY can't anyone see that??? :shrug:
