5 of the last 6 nights have been winning outings! Not a great card tonight. Going to play two games small. Sabres will get the Devils off two huge games on the weekend. Sabres have played well at home and I think with them playing the same style of hockey that they get the win as they want it more at this point in the season. It seems NJ gets up for big rivals and play average against other teams.

I have been looking at both these games and with the way Dallas has played of late and first game back off of long trip I think Det beats them handely.

I agree with Horns.
Especially in these games.
DET and Dallas have had like 4 ties in the last 5 games.
NJ and Buffalo is also very likely tie situation.

It pays more to take the ml but it would suck to lose 1 and push another because of a tie. Just a little protection.

Mr.Hockey - I will give you an objective overview(you know what I mean) Sens played a very good 1st period but Lalime let in a very soft goal, the guy threw it from behind the net and Lalime left a crack open between him and the goal post and it went off his arm. Actually a terrible goal. Sens had numerous chances and they outchanced the Thrashers badly. Second period, Ott scored quickly from going to the net which seems what they need to do more of. They used their speed all game and they could have won this game by more the way I see it. They finally had better team play but still a few odd man rushes against which they are going to have to correct as the better teams will capitalize on this. Lalime let in another weak one in the second as he was down early and the puck trickled by him as it was a shot on the ice that just slid in. In the 3rd period each team waited for a mistake to be made and then when Ott scored midway the Thrashers took chances but could not get Ott out of position. Easily the best positional period defensively that Ott has played a while. They still are going to need to work on the defensive zone coverage a bit. As well it seems the defense is getting caught pinching in at the wrong times. Hope this helps.

just for info purposes, I live near rochester so this game is getting a lot of press around here. I know Sabres are concerned with ice being a lot slower after this afternoons practice. This might play into more of a bumping and checking game at center ice. I may play the under here. Good luck everyone. By the way, excellent night last night Horns

6 of the last 7 nights have been winning nights! Should have stayed with my first 2 plays and not added the Pens. I must say, the Pens are downright pathetic right now. I mean at least play with a little pride. It is starting to show how many AHL players are playing on that team. It is sorry to see a solid team over the years just a mere shadow of themselves.
