This may be the dumbest play

I've ever considered but I like Oakland Sunday. If Callahan comes into this game with anything like the plan he had last week against the Jets and pounds the ball against a poor Minny run D, I think they can control this game. Add to that the Minny travel this week (W-E-W) and perhaps overlooking a losing team and it looks like a good ML possibility. My biggest concern is Callahan. Does he go with what works(Garner, Fargas, Wheatly) and control the ball or does he go back to the pathetic passing game?
Haven't pulled the trigger yet and would appreciate opinions. Thanks.

i dont like to bet on the raiders currently. they are too shizo for me. aren't they using 3rd string qb now?

Yea they are(Mirer) but that is why they ran the ball so much last week. They really only let him throw short possession type throws and he actually didn't do to badly. I am by no means a fan of his but if you don't make him do too much, he does have good mobility.

I'm no Raiders fan but I'm down with 'em. Of course I'm 34-37 on the year.

Here in Minny, there is a sense of desperation amongst the locals. everyone, including coaches, is scratching their head trying to figure out what happened to the Defense that played so well for 5 1/2 games and then died! Where is the ballhawking, etc. that was so prevelant (minny was a plus 15 after the first 6 games, a minus 4 since).

Old Red McCombs is scratching his nutsack and Mikey Tice is dumbfounded. It appears George O'leary may have lied about his defensive coordinator skills (does that show up on a resume?).

They have inserted a couple of younger, quicker LB's into the scheme. A Viking fan like me can only hope these guys didn't learn how to tackle at the Deon Sanders School of Tackling!

The only thing I can say about the game is OVER! The Vikings will score at least 30-35 in this game leaving only 14-17 for the Raiders. They may score 80??? I don't know.

the raiders forced the run last week. may be apprroach again this week. however, this team was up by 11 at half, and still lost the game. i see no good reason to expect a bad team to do good things. also, the raiders never trailed last week until they lost. if they get behind minny they will not catchup. jmo.
