COLUMBUS is in need of a home win big time, coming off a 4-0 whipping at home vs BRUINS. They lost at OTT the nite before, and that is a tough back to back to go against. COYOTES didn't have it much easier, playing AVS and STARS back to back after splitting with the DUCKS. I just think the BJ's will be ready to play today, PHOE may have a letdown after a good stretch for them. BLUEJACKETS need to get their offense going, and hopefully that happens early and often in this one.
ATL is struggling big time right now after a nice emotional start after losing one of their stars, and burying another due to auto accident. I can't see how ATL can be favored by this much in this game, as they have not shown they can win at home. HOPING the SAINTS comeback against the FALCONS will have the ATL players distracted in this one and FLA jumps all over them. PANTHERS have been playing well for the new coach, and I think it continues tonite. Both teams played in PA last nite, FLA beating the PENGUINS in PITT, and ATL getting shut out at PHILLY 4-0.
With both teams tired and having traveled, I like the team that is playing better right now, and that is the PANTHERS!
