HAS ANYONE CAPPED THIS GAME TO HIT 160????...

I MEAN I CAN SEE TEXAS SCORING 80 BUT BROWN ???????????...

WITH SPREAD IN THE 20'S ...THE LINE SETTER HAS TO THINK TEXAS IS GOING TO SCORE IN THE 90'S OR ABOVE AND BROWN IN THE 70'S...

I HAVE NOT CAPPED THIS GAME BUT THIS NUMBER LOOKS HIGH TO ME..

INPUT APPRECIATED

funny thing is i was going to post about the same game, just the other way. i think this can crack 160 w/o a problem.

i know dick about the ivy league, but i do know that brown looks to push the tempo. and obviously texas likes to do the same. obviously youre not going to get the late game fouling with a blowout expected, but i think this could be a 95-74 kind of game.

Brown lost a ton of points to graduation last year. Forte is really their only scorer they have. I didn't expect this number to be this high. If I was going to play it, I'd take the under.

thanks. im not familiar with their personnel. so thanks for the heads up. just remember them playing a lot of up-tempo games in the ivy league and then an up tempo game vs virginia in the NIT

THANKS G...

LIKE I SAID I DIDNT CAP THE GAME...JUST WAS THINKING THAT NO WAY BROWN CAN GO INTO THIS GAME THINKING THEY CAN RUN WITH TEXAS ....THEY SIMPLY DONT HAVE THE ATHLETES ...SO I WAS THINKING THEY WOULD EMPLOY SOME TYPE OF OFFENSE WHICH RAN A LOT OF TIME OFF THE CLOCK AND KEEP THE BALL OUT OF TEXAS'S HANDS AS LONG AS THEY COULD...

IN ADDITION BROWN LOST NOT ONLY THIER ALL TIME LEADING SCORER IN HUNT BUT ALSO THEIR THIRD ALL TIME LEADING SCORER...WITH THOSE TWO GUYS GONE THIER IS NO QUESTION THAT THEY WILL TAKE A DIP OFFENSIVELY...

AND WITH TEXAS STARTING POINT GUARD OUT IN PAULINO...I WAS THINKING THAT TEXAS MAY HAVE SOME PROBLEMS GETTING ACCLIMATED OFFENSIVELY ....

BUT IM PROBABLY GOING TO LAY OFF ...JUST WANTED SOME INPUT FROM THE GUYS IN HERE WHO HAVE LOOKED INTO THE GAME..

AGAIN THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE AND GOOD LUCK

Since you guys are looking at this game,

What do you think of UT -14.5 in the FH?

Thanks Guys and GL!

P.S. I would lean to the under just because this is the only chance Brown has and you will see alot of scrubs in the 2nd half!

MY OPINION GMAN2..IS MORE A GENERAL ONE...LIKE I SAID DIDNT CAP IT SO CANT GIVE YOU A PERSPECTIVE FROM CAPPING THE GAME...

BUT I WILL SAY THIS...

FROM THE INFO I STATED EARLIER WITH BROWN LOSING TONS OF SCORING....IM NOT SURE I COULD TAKE THEM ..ON THE ROAD AGAINST TEXAS...

BUT I AM NOT LAYING THAT KIND OF NUMBER THIS EARLY IN THE SEASON ON ANYONE...ITS DOGS OR SMALL FAVES FOR ME RIGHT NOW...

FOR CHRIST SAKES YALE IS WINNING ...GO FIGURE..
LOL

GOOD LUCK BRO

thanks for keeping me off the over. never really considered it too hard after seeing both your posts. bj- youre right, looks like brown really lacks some scoring punch due to graduation.

gman, i wasn't sure whether you were able to watch the game or not but i was going to mention to keep an eye on #2 for Texas, freshman PJ Tucker. Barnes snatched him out of ACC country (NC) because most schools said he was "too short" to play inside. He's 6'5 but solid. Reminds a lot of us of a smaller Barkley type because he's a monster downlow.

Anyways he had 18 points and 13 boards. He'll be a nightmare matchup for a lot of teams. Some ACC teams will be scratching their head in 4 years wondering why in the hell they passed him up. Should be fun to watch.
