ok guys here is basically the deal, I don't handicapp NHL at all, actually no hockey for that matter. I do and have handicapped MLB Football & some basketball for better than 15 years.
I have noticed over the last couple years several very talented & knowledgeable NHL cappers in this forum in my limited visits, lots of knowledgeable coattail material in this forum for sure
question basically this, I have a new local, 1 of 3 or 4 I use for NBA & NCAAb. While getting lines couple nights back on a extremely limited slate, I decide to ask him on Bruins line, because of simple fact they have been playing pretty good hockey, and several guys here were on them. The guy gives me the line, I wouldn't know if it was off or not because I don't play that much NHL at all. I go to Pinnacle and see basically what he has done is given me the PL (without the -.5) as the ML.
EXAMPLE: BOSTON -.5 (-120) ML (-200)
he is getting me the Bruins pk (-120). I told him that's the wrong line, he arrogantly told me I was wrong. So I played & won. Ironically enough, I lost the next couple nights, but by my calculations long term this should be easy profit playing big favorites at low prices, obviously you can't play dogs using these lines, unless there is something I'm missing.
Another thing is his totals are -110 both sides, (20 cent line). I notice some totals are held at "smart shops" Pinnacle Olympic etc. sometimes as high as 5ov-140, simply because the sharper shops doesn't want to hang 5.5. Isn't there incredible value playing over 5-110, when you would play 30 cents higher at Pinnacle?
Would greatly appreciate all your opinions & recommendations thank you in advance.
