anyone still interested in watching Denver absolutely embarrass and destroy San Diego Sunday witnessed a glaring example of the ignorance & embarrassment of todays professional Sports.

Ok, 8 minute mark of 3rd quarter, Denver leading 27--0,
Denver 310 total yards, San Diego 12 total yards to this point.

Denver driving in San Diego Territory looking to go up 34-0, which incidentally they eventually did. Plummer throws a out Route and gets picked by S Smith at the San Diego 15, Smith does a nice job returning the interception and returns the ball 40 + yards into Denver Territory. Meanwhile some jackass M Wiley, RECEIVES A 15 YARD TAUNTING PENALTY, WHILE SCREAMING AND POUNDING HIS CHEST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ****ING FIELD. 27--0, 310 TOTAL YARDS TO 12, ARE YOU KIDDING ME. EVEN STUPID ASS ESPN WON'T SHOW YOU ON THIS ONE WILEY YOU IDIOT.

just one example of what is quickly making sports unbearable to watch, remember Kellon Winslow with San Diego, unbelievable athlete, great hands, tremendous speed, tough, willing to take hits. Possibly the greatest of the great TE' S of the era, Dave Caspar, Russ Francis, Ozzie Newman etc. etc. remember him being literally carried off the field against Miami in the Orange Bowl, record No. of yards receiving in single game in terrible heat. Literally carried off field almost unconscious from heat stroke. Fast forward to his loud mouth chest pounding Punk of a kid. How could such greatness sire this screaming pointing chest beating taunting "all about me" loser. Even better question how can the old man sit and watch this embarrassment every week.

just my 2 cents

Absolutely right, Rock. These idiots really burn my :moon:

The only thing you missed is Ozzie Newsome (Newman).

I think players were more focused and concerned about their play and their results when they made less money;)

motivation was much easier to find

players weren't as worried about whether or not they were being given the proper amount of "respect"

they knew then that the game is bigger than they were:)

it still is now:thefinger :thefinger
