Don't know how this theory works in the NBA but in the NHL when a new coach takes over a team I always bet that team in their first game with the new coach. It has already happened this year when the Florida Panthers came out with an easy win.
So playing the Magic tonight. If this coaching does not grab their attention I don't know what will. What makes me like this play more is that they are playing the Suns who have been very average this year. Teams that have played a zone defense have caused them all sorts of problems. Magic are lacking scoring from the outside as teams usually play zone on them and force them into shooting from outside alot. Then you got McGrady, Gooden and Howard shooting all night instead of getting their points in the paint. Losing Garrity and Armstrong has hurt this team alot but I look for a very strong effort tonight from the Magic. Don't normally do write-ups on the NBA but felt I had a little something to offer.

Losing Garrity and Armstrong has hurt this team alot

D Armstrong has been a great sparkplug for the Hornets. He wills the rest of the team to hustle for 48 minutes.
