The Dallas Morning News reports - Dirk Nowitzki left practice Wednesday because of a mild ankle
sprain and was listed as questionable for Thursday's game. But at least one Maverick has him listed as
definite. "He'll be ready to play," Michael Finley said. "It wasn't a severe ankle sprain. He just
bumped it. I don't think it's anything for us to worry about." Nowitzki's status will be determined
at game time.

Tracy McGrady sat out Wednesday's practice. He walked gingerly
and wore shower sandals instead of gym shoes. It's his aching back
again. McGrady says he will play tonight, but the Magic are
wondering just how effective he'll be against the Phoenix Suns.
"I'll play, no doubt, but it's going to be a problem until I retire."
