Wouldn't a simple solution be to replace Baylor with TCU to make the conference stronger. TCU seems to have the facilities to be a big-time program (or at least their budget is similar to Baylor's). What's the hang-up?

Also, I love the hand signals that all the Texas schools from the SWC, but the Horned Frog just looks silly.

Baylor thinks it's OK in the Big 12 b/c it can compete in Baseball, Vollyball, Softball and Chess.....

Believe it or not, the basketball program was on the way up, but that all went under the gun this summer. Oh well.....

Baylor can actually hold their own in Track and Baseball but they do not generate the $ where it counts the most, Football and Basketball.

We've always wanted to see Arkansas come back in but I don't trust a lot of those schools in the SEC.

It's simple Bobby: It makes complete sense, so there is absolutely no way it will happen. Seems to be the law of the land in college football.

The Big 12 will never be as strong as the SEC they could add Notre Dame and it wouldnt matter. The pecking order will always go. 1) SEC, 2) Big 10 , 3) Big 12, 4) Pac 10 and 5) ACC then the rest of the crap conferences like Big East, MAC and Sun Belt

It just seems to me that the other teams in the Big XII hold their own weight in the major revenue sports, it would piss me off to share that money with Baylor.

Arkansas seemed more up for the two Texas games in the past few seasons than for any other matchup that they had including the SEC championship game, so that makes sense as well.

Thanks for your replies.

It is all politics. The original "Big 12" plan didnt include either Tech or Baylor. But the state legislators took issue with that - believe it or not Baylor actually has some pull in this state. Thus, I doubt there ould ever be a way to get Baylor out unless Baylor chose to leave, and with the cash flowing that just isnt going to happen.
