I'm jumping on the Over in the Heritage Classic, too. I can't believe we're seeing a "5". I was expecting to see 5.5 with juice to go Over. Gonna be cold as hell, and with outdoor lighting, the shadows are gonna play a sorts of tricks on the goalies.

although.......shadows won't be a problem....had the "ice guy" on CBC and he said they learned from the Mich/MSU game........shadows will not be a problem......


IF the game does go, you can count on some cold goalies

I read an article a little while ago, it was a short interview with the goalie who played for Mich St in that game, and he said he had a heck of a time see the pucks:shrug:. I could be wrong though.

None the less, with the forecasted temp, we should see a lot of cold bench players, frozen goalies like you said, and broken sticks. The pucks won't be as bouncy in frigid weather, and I'm guessing the refs will let them play a wide open game. This is gonna be a HUGE chance for NHL to showcase the game to the world, I don't think they'll want to see a low scoring game.

I can't wait to see Kurri, Messier, and Gretz suit up again in the MegaStars game. Gonna be a treat!
