probably gonna be my only play for the day. gonna wait to see the tuesday maui lines. might add one of those, but as far as the games in the regular rotation, drake really stands out as a solid play.

Hey like the pick for tomorrow. If you look at the recent match-ups you have to wonder why the line is so high. They historically play tight ball games. Now the former Iowa coach is going back to his old home. I am sure his plays know he would like to walk out of their with a win.

Four of the last five meetings have gone down to the wire, with Iowa winning by four points in 1998-99, by seven points in two overtimes in 1999-00, by two points in 2000-01 and by a 50-49 margin last season in Des Moines.

If you look at that Iowa has only given them one beating in the last five years. You never know, but I like the fact that Worley is out.

The Drake basketball team got a head start on the 2003-04 season by playing three games
in Cancun, Mexico during Labor Day weekend. The Bulldogs went 3-0 on the trip
including an 84-60 victory past the Belize National Team which had earlier
defeated the University of Arkansas, 83-78.

guru:

used to know some guys who went through the drake hoops program. this is one of those in-state games that means more to the dog. iowa has nothing to gain and everything to lose. a lot of the drake players were fringe university of iowa recruits and they take this game as an opportunity to make a name for themselves vs the in-state power. the game two years ago sticks out and scares me a little (drake was a DD dog and got destroyed in iowa 101-59) but like you said, by and large - drake really gets up for this game and it means so much more to them than iowa. results in 4 of the last 5 have been close. bulldogs are a live dog here imo. even though those games in puerto rico were against nobodies, its sometimes good to get some confidence-building wins to get your program in the right direction.

==== DRAKE'S COACH, DR. TOM DAVIS, RETURNS TO THE SITE OF MANY MEMORABLE VICTORIES! HIS DRAKE TEAM IS WAAAAAAY DOWN WITHOUT LUKE MCDONALD......WHO I BELIEVE WAS WITH THEM IN THEIR EXHIBITION SWING........... SURE DRAKES PLAYERS UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE, AND SO DO THE HAWKEYES!! ALFORD'S SEAT GETS HOTTER EVERY YEAR........ HE HAS SOME VETERANS THIS YEAR AND NEEDS TO PRODUCE........ THE SPECTRE OF COACH DAVIS HANGS HEAVILY OVER THIS PROGRAM !! IF ALFORD CAN PUT IT TO THE FORMER MENTOR I THINK HE WOULD! IOWA HAS THE TALENT -------- NO PLAY FOR ME ----- BUT, GL2U ====

I got the 18.5 for the W - missed ft late got you but the lead got to 24 so a push isnt all bad for you. I had a nice W on Nut State as well - may need it as the Spartans looking questionable. But guess what, a loss is still a Meat Loaf Special!
