Edward Your up early this Thanksgiving morning. You know I was "almost" feeling bad about badgering you so close to holiday in initial post, but after comments bout C-Man I feel MUCH better:)
Your still on my Christmas list though to receive signed copy of O'Reileys "Who's Looking Out for You" will send it along with DJV's "The Spin Stops Here" door mat.:p
I was just looking at Foxes political opinions index
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/index.html
--looking to see this tainted slant you talk about and fail to see it.
Now I agree that many of their reporters slant towards conservatism but that is the fact that brought them to be #1 rated cable news channel. They usually have one from each party in debates, however you won't see the Clintons or Jessie on the O'Reilly factor as he does not have canned questions like Larry King and BA BA Walters ect.
Lots of news coverage on Dem nominies and even links to their websites on Foxes internet site.
Was just listening last night to one blasting the expected cost of medicare bill, then saying it didn't go far enough, then advocating universal healthcare for all.
Even showed a handful of protesters in San Fran and DC burning their AARP cards. Can you imagine that, protesters in San Fran and DC.:D
While I am not in favor of the plan I do find it amusing he stole their thunder right down to benefits being free for the poor and costing those that led resourceful life and saved a few bucks.

---P.S. and while discussions of changing avatars was brought up
you wouldn't consider changing yours to Urkle in the new year, would you?

Dogs;

I should also send you some of the books and writings by Bill Moyers for under your tree this year. Quite a good, intellectual, I dare say.

Ctown deserves everything he can get. See, doggie I went to high school with his type. Near west side, low life. Favorite memory of Cleveland was dime a beer night at the tribe game in the late 70's when Indian fans got into a fight with the Texas Rangers. Every derelick carp in northeast ohio crawled out of Lake Erie for that one. I'm sure Ctown was in the front row.

I find your comment that you don't think Fox news is slanted quite predictable concerning the spin you like to put on things. Watch it doggie, comments like that might undermine your credibility with some of your brainless followers and supporters who have failed in their short lives to yet have one original thought.

Seriously, I give you and individuals who think like you a lot of credit for the calculated, meticulous manner in which corporate america has put a pawn in the white house, gotten control of congress, the courts and many state government. Hell, you guys got your second B movie actor elected governor of California. Thats a hell of a feat considering his impecable qualifications to govern the 5th largest economy in the world.

The fact that he was elected depicts the extent of control, money and power you and your ilk have in this country. See, maybe I'm somewhat archaic but, I thought it was government suppose to be a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Not a government which is bought and put in place by the rich and powerful to serve corporations. My bad.

Yeah I know, trickle down. I just love watching the haves pass their money down to the have nots. Been happenin since the first B movie actor was placed in power back in the 80's. Notice I said placed in power v. elected. You see, Doggie, we dont live in a democracy anymore. It just has the appearance of one. We live in a system where a government protects the corporations at the expense of the individual.

Hell, why am I getting arthritis in my fingers talking to you about concepts that you cannot understand. Might as well talk to Freeze. You have a Happy Thanksgiving ya hear.

Eddie, I don't need a plethora of rhetoric to tell you what I think of you and your kind. Your a fu**ing pompous arrogant asshole.

I also love how you have me all figured out just by my handle, typical from an elitist egghead that thinks they can save the world and all the criminals in it.

Hey Ctownguy....its your favorite pompous, arrogant asshole here. Ya wanna enlighten me as to why you call yourself ctownguy? Inquiring minds want to know.

Watch it on that criminal stuff, Browns clown, from the content of your posts and your probable background, you will probably be hiring one of my bretheren soon (or you probably already have).

To follow up, I need to save the world from you. Guess what, I agree. Now go finish that lovely merlot you were drinking, Monique.

Seriously, JT, if it weren't for the 42 years of therapy, 4x per week, that I have been undergoing, I would seriously consider running for prez. Hell, Dogs that bark could do a better job than the moron currently fixed in that position by the evildoers of this country.

Ed, the pompous, arrogant asshole (with a "plethora" of ego)

Edward You are going to have to start having someone read these post for you.
My comment
"Now I agree that many of their reporters slant towards conservatism but that is the fact that brought them to be #1 rated cable news channel."
Your comment
"I find your comment that you don't think Fox news is slanted quite predictable concerning the spin you like to put on things."

I think "The Spinner" is obvious

What about GW heading to Iraq to be with troops on turkey day??????????
You and the rest of your libs got to be gasping on that one.
Lets take a guess how the left will react in headlines tomorrow.

Bush wastes more tax dollars on travel?
Bush has secret meeting with Saddam on T-day?
Bush deserts family on T-Day.
I saw Hiliarys reply already. " Big deal we had people over for bed and breakfast at white house year round and gave them discount on T-Day and Christmas, opps I mean the holiday that falls on the 25th of December."

It was a great political move for Bush to go to Iraq. I agree. But tell me this. Just what are we going to win over there if we do win. And how do we know we won? And if Freedom is so important to these Iraqis you conservatives, who by the way couldn't give give two shakes of a donkeys tail before Bush and Murdoch News told you you did, love so much why don't they fight for it themselves? Funny, I don't remember Bush mentioning the poor, repressed Iraqis during the election.

StevieD you can't be that stupid can you?

WE ARE FIGHTING THE WAR AGAINST TERRORISM YOU DUMBASS, WE ARE NOT SETTING ON OUR ASSESS LIKE YOU DEMOCRATS DID WITH CLINTON FOR 8 YEARS WHILE THE EMBASSY BOMBINGS AND THE COLE BOMBING AND MOGADESH DEBACLE WHERE WE TURNED AND RAN ALL WHILE THE REST OF THE WORLD WATCHED AND THOUGHT WE WERE SOFT AND VULNERABLE.

THAT IS WHY THE 911 ATTACK HAPPENED AND THEY THOUGHT WE WOULD RESPOND LIKE WE HAD PROVEN BEFORE, DO NOTHING BUT TALK BIG AND DO NOTHING AND THAT IS PRECISELY WHAT WE WOULD HAVE DONE IF GORE WOULD HAVE BEEN ELECTED INSTEAD OF BUSH.

WE HAD TO TAKE A STAND AND ERADICATE THESE ANIMALS WHEREVER THEY MAY BE FOUND AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE DOING.

BUT BEING DEMOCRAT YOU CAN'T SEE THAT OR WON'T BECAUSE GOD FORBID YOU WOULD HAVE TO GIVE CREDIT TO A CONSERVATIVE OR A REPBUBLICAN AND THAT WOULD BE SACRILEGIOUS.

BETTER TO SACRIFICE THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY, JUST SO YOU CAN GET A DUMBASS DEMOCRAT BACK IN POWER.

Please tell me you are not this stupid.

Hey Dogs:

Look, you got a cheerleader. Goooooooooooooo Dogs!!! You are right and I apologize. Wasn't spin my premium sucking friend, it was a mis-read. See normally I skim your posts as you continue to repeat the same old tired mantra. Gets kinda boring. But you are right, you did not say that you did not feel that Fox news was slanted (hows that for a double negative, I would be in big trouble if Sister Mary Corleen read this post).

However, Doggie, I gotta believe that you probably think that Fox news is not slanted. Funny, I just heard on the radio on the way into work that one of the three reporters on the puppets double secret public relations, trip to Iraq was from Fox news. Wow, now theres a shocker. Do you think that that was the criminals idea? I seriously doubt it. Similar to your barking butt buddie (although as you know, I am in favor of gay marriages), the Bushman is incapable of having an original idea.

Now for the dawg pound dummie, first lets not assume that those of us how have the ability to see and understand how corrupt this administration is are democrats. I will not speak for others moderates however, I believe the democrats are worse than the criminals currently holding office and power.

You see my misguided transplanted barking friend, the democrats did not have the courage (with the possible exception of Howard Dean) to stand up to massacre of Iraqi, British and American human beings in order that Haliburton shareholders can have a Merry Christmas. No, those weak sniveling losers deserve all the ridicule you and I can muster (obviously for different reasons).

I must also not so disrespectivly disagree with your assertion for the reason 9-11 occured. The reason 9-11 occured was a dangerous combination of religous fervor coupled with American corporate terrorism. The corporate puppets solution is to destroy the religous fanatics with force (I wish he would start with the Christian Coalition) instead of correcting his benefactors sins.

President Edward Haskell would launch an agenda addressing both issues. I would ask that govenment take a more active role in monitoring international corporate expansion while at the same time root out both international and national terrorists groups. I would also arrest Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George Bush, Tom DeLay and Mitch McConnell and try both of them for treason against the United States of America. There is no doubt in my mind that Bushs' defense team would raise incompetency as a defense at trial. I would force Newt Gingrich to sleep with his sister (although the Newtster might like that I couldnt do that too his sister).

Why don't we first eradicate the "animals" we have here at home. I know a couple of dogs we can start with. The irony you west coast loser is that you are sacrificing the good of the country so that the haves can have more and the have nots can have less. Your follow-the-leader philosophy is destroying everything this country stands for. No doubt, in 1776 you would be taking up arms to protect the status quo, the majority and the powerful. Your jacket would be red.

You are one stupid human being.

Haskell, you would almost be dangerous if you weren't so laughable.

You ARE the perfect example of the egghead elistist. You use 5000 words when you could say want you want in 50. You have no concept of truth or facts and like all liberals you theorize what is going on and are no where near the real world.

I've noticed that when left wing wackos like yourself are interviewed the only way the can get their false points or theories or lies across is to just keep talking and talking over other people and then just keep repeating the same lie over and over. Does this sound familiar, it was clinton's mantra for 8 years until he got caught at it

You are the typical left wing wacko that is a joke. I feel sorry for you eddie because all the things that piss you off will be around for quite awhile, good leaders (Republicans) and the common American that deals with real world truths and not farfetched crap you people spew.

You are one laughable asshole, and you are so good at it, so keep it up, we all need the comic relief in these times.

Fair points Stevie.I can't really see our reason for being over there to free Iraqi's other than a by-product and 2ndary poiltical justification.
-and I found that Clinton did visit Kosovo for thanksgiving so I will give him credit for that.
For most part the Dem candidates have been very cordial over affair. I have only found one "way out there" retort.

'Bush's entourage was fitted with ballistic vests, and the plane came in with neither running lights nor cabin lights, parking on a dark landing strip. "The message to the Iraqis is Bush doesn't think their country is secure," said Sidney Blumenthal, a former adviser to Clinton'

Eddie I read several papers on net each morning-Fox-USA Today and AFP.
Would it be fair to say we all view news that slants to our beliefs.
I do think Fox is fair in fact that they have one from each side in debates, however the lib is usually probed a little deeper on his ideas by the usually conservative narrarator. However I am not a fan of canned interviews you find on most stations, where the interviewed already knows quetions. I like the stuttering-side stepping-and sometimes utter choking silence that spontaneous interviews get.

Ctownguy Would you please make the connection between Iraq and the threat that they posed to us. It seems to me that even Bush is saying that the terrorists are coming into Iraq from other countries. Now, I may be stupid but that tells me that even Mr. Bush believes that the terrorists were not in Iraq before we got there. So that being the case I have to ask you to make the connection between 9-11 and WTC. One in which Mr. Bush himself has never made. If you remember we went in there because he said Iraq posed a threat to America because of WMD, not because of WTC.
Now let us look at Bush's trip. If all was going well with morale then what positive point would the trip had made other than a photo op. On the other hand if morale was low and he made the trip to boost morale then he is lying to the American people again.
This stupid guy needs your explanations Ctownguy.

First of all StevieD let me apologize for calling you stupid, it's not usually my nature to do such things except for individuals that start the name calling which you didn't.

I have to say that we definitely view this situation differently. I view our invasion into the area for the reason stated at the outset and just because no WMD were actually found like a smoking gun it's been proven they had labs that were manufacturing deadly chemicals and I believe the other weapons could and would have been made if we had not been there threatening to invade. (PREVENTION)

Also it always seems to me that the left looks at things microlly when trying to discredit a Republican administration and macrolly when looking at themselves.

IF NOTHING ELSE, THE OUSTER OF HUSSEIN AND HIS HENCHMAN HAS SAVED MILLIONS OF LIVES BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I BELIEVE IT WILL BRING STABILZATION TO THIS PART OF THE WORLD. WE HAD TO GAIN A STRONGHOLD IN THIS AREA AND WHAT BETTER COUNTRY TO DO THAT BUT IRAG THE HOME TO A BUTCHER AS BAD AS HITLER AND WE HAD GREAT INTELLIGENCE ABOUT IRAG ALREADY HAVING FOUGHT THERE.

So I might not have answered your micro questions, but the reasons I have stated and plenty more that are just lenghty to get into now prove to me we should be there.

I say we need to be there and by being there we are showing these animals we will not be deterred or intimidated by muslim extremists or anyone trying to destroy our way of life.

Also to say that this was a publicity stunt like some of the left wing media wackos is ludicrious. They just can't stand that a coward like clinton would have never done something like this, but a LEADER LIKE BUSH KNOWS HOW IMPORTANT OUR FIGHTING MEN AND WOMEN ARE TO US AND THIS WAS A PERFECT WAY TO DO IT. AND YES IT DID NEED TO BE DONE SECRETLY, DUH!!

Once again, I apologize for my labeling you stupid, lets just say we don't agree on probably everything political.

Hey Bush only went onlast minute because he learn Senator Clinton was schedled to be there for two days. He had to try and steal the show. Shows war is not over when you sneak in and out in 2/3 hours. And look what we would be left with if he did get shot. Cheney, Good Lord what a hopeless situation.
