...yeah, at the end of the day, it may be me that's the Turkey, but as I said in another thread, the Rebs are coming off an all out effort at home to LSU in a game that they should have won, which was disappointing and emotionally draining to say the least....

Also, it's Jackie Sherrill's last game...it's the seniors' last game....it's at Starkville....and it's the Egg Bowl...the only damn bowl that State will be playing in this year...and they'd love to beat Ole Miss and ruin a great season for the Rebs....

Do I think that they can pull off the upset??? Oh, hell no!!! Do I think that they can hang within 20 points??? Well, last time I checked the talent discrepancy in the Egg Bowl wasn't that lopsided.... Anytime I can get almost 3 TD's in a rivalry game, it's one of those cases of "take the dog or pass" and I'm taking the doggie.... ;)

Of course I have no way to back this up, but I suspect Miss State +20 won't cover in the first half.

...well, got my $$ back plus a small profit with the 2nd half wager by the hook (read: skin of my fawking teeth), but I am disappointed that Miss St showed no heart in this game.... :(


At the beginning of the season, I had them rated 3rd in the West, alas they have the talent, but failed to do anything with it.... Personally, I think that the biggest difference in this year's team and last year's is the loss of Joe Lee Dunn.... Just look at what memphis has done this year on Defense and what Miss St has done on Defense.... He is obviously missed in Starkville...but more than welcome in Memphrica. ;)


...congrats to all the Ole Miss backers and for the fans...particularlly, Stuman, congrats on an outstanding season.... ;)


...let's see if we can't make some money this weekend...whaddya say fellas? :D
