I know this will not make the genius change thier mind, everyone is sick of this ****ing system, you know the " I hope team A win, but team B loss in order to team C dont get the quality win only if team X doesnt beat team Z, and ge dont face team H for the second time cause if we beat them in the championship game we will loss SOS" CRAP. So exactly what are they trying to do???? Do they really want the two best teams in nation face each other in the championship game?? Exactly how a team can share a national title??? Well let me tell you something you ****ing idiots, did you knew that with your stupid system the last 3 NFL champions should had been 3 different teams???? yeah no Tampa, Pats and Ravens world champions. Why do you let a team national title hopes in the ND/Syr hands? Exactly why does a team doesnt deserve to play for the national championship if the team they beat lost, or even more ironic if I beat that team twice? Why do a need a win of a team I already beat in order for some points?.

Ok, I agree your system is somekind of interesting, but it is not fair, face it. why dont play a 8 team playoffs, giving HF advantage to the "Two best teams in nation (or at least thats what my computers think)". Oh yeah I get it cause a crazy little thing call lov.. sorry my bad I mean money.

I just wanna know, which teams will be playing if the season ends today in the SB with your system??? At least in NFL they are only 32 teams that almost face each other. So maybe KC vs Phi or Rams???sorry my bad, Kc lost versus Bengals that lost vs Oakland and Bills so not SOS to KC because they beat Oakland twice and Bills. And of course how can we forget that Rams lost on their season opener vs giants. So that must be enough to put Phila on the SB right???? **** maybe not cause they beat giants twice so they dont get that QW points.

Sorry people I was just trying to understand this system by taking the NFL as an example, but it didnt work, In fact I just get more confuse, so I guess a playoff system should be the way to go, but that will be something that us college fans dont deserve. So lets just watch that ND/Syr game so we can have some idea of the next national title game. UNBELIEVABLE:thefinger

I agree, BCS sucks and their needs to be a playoff system. It is not fair for LSU this year when they get left out. No way the regular season should determine the NC because you cannot reward teams who actually get better as the season goes on, and what if they lose to an early opponent.

ND vs Syracuse will not decide who goes to the NC. USC beating OSU will decide who goes to the NC. LSU is too far behind in the BCS and playing Georgia put a fork in their chances.

I also think if OU loses on Sat they should not get to play in the NC, and let USC vs LSU play. I have not been overly impressed with OU schedule and if they falter I do not think they should still play in the NC. Don't get me wrong, i been impressed with their team, not their schedule.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!

you love to talk about shedule strength well look at ou's versus usc isnt ou' almost 3 times stronger; they took the number 6 team in the bcs by 50; they took osu a team with 9 wins by 40; and they are about to take on the number 15 team in the bcs; the reason you dont want to play ou is you know they are going to get there ass handed to them; you are suck a freakin homer joke; usc lost to a team with 6 losses thats not even in the top 40; even if ou does lose which i very seriously doubt will happen; they would have lost to a team with 9 wins and number 15 in the bcs; and they lost in a championship game which the pac 10 doesnt even have so shut your trap; not impressed with their schedule are you freakin kidding me; think again dumbass :nono:

I refuse to reply to you and your post because it appears you cannot hold an intellectual debate. In future reference, name calling weakens your credibility and shows lack of class and maturity. :nono:

you want USC to play LSU for one reason only. You think LSU is a shell of a team that USC can beat.

The homer in you don't want USC to play OU. USC will lose that game.

I agree with the playoff(but we all know thats not happening anytime soon). Another thing that bugs me is the fact that one of the teams playing for the SEC champ. will probably not make a BCS game. While I am a georgia fan I see this as being even more unfair towards LSU. What it appears as though they are saying is that they finished good enough to be ranked 3rd in the bcs, but if they were to lose(playing an extra game that even if they win probably wont put them in the NC) they will probably be out of a BCS game all together. While I understand the # of teams in a conference dictats a championship game why should the penalty for a loss be so much greater than the reward for a victory. :shrug:

What is unfair about the whole thing is that some conferences have chapionship games while others do not. OU is 12-0 has gone 8-0 in their conference and should be on their way to New Orleans. Instead they have to play K-State, who without injury to QB, might very well have only one loss right now to make money for the Big XII. I do not mind playing in a championship game. I think the atmosphere is great and the opportunity to compete is wonderful. But if the Big XII and SEC do it, everyone should do it.

Pac 10 won't expand and have a championship game because their are no teams academically qualified to join the pac 10. Stanford, UCLA, CAL and USC are all top notch academic institutions and all vote against expanding because of academics. If I had my choice, I would not mind Colorado and Colorado St. joining or Texas and A&M. Otherwise forget any other teams.

SEC and BIG 12 all the teams do not play each other, so you need to have a Championship game. KSU and OU would never have played without Championship, and both are very good teams.

Scott-Atlanta
In case you missed it, USC is one of the few teams in the nation who is not afraid to play anybody anywhere. Teams fear playing USC. Miami and Michigan both declined playing USC and USC has reached a deal with OU and will play a home and home series in the near future. MAYBE even next year. So to answer your question, I do not care if USC plays OU or LSU, because at USC, we are used to playing anybody anywhere and expect nothing less.

Just curious but when LSU was openly looking for an opponent since Marshall backed out on them, why didn't they step up to the plate?

I could imagine they wouldn't want to pass up such tough games like Hawaii @ home :rolleyes:

3 of USC's 4 OOC opponents were bowl teams last year. Started year @ AU and USC contacted MIAMI if they wanted to play in the BCA classic and they declined. Yep, USC wanted to play MIAMI and AU back to back knowing they were starting completely new backfield QB and RB's. So i do not think USC would pass on LSU. :lol:

I just heard a rumor today that Miami finally agreed to play USC, and USC might be playing MIami next year. This would mean USC in the last month has scheduled a series with OU and MIAMI. Maybe USC will play both next year, USC has 2 open dates if one of them agrees to play USC in the BCA classic. Michigan already said no to USC.

Pete Carroll was quoted saying he fears nobody and will play anybody anywhere. Guess he is a man of his word.

Once again you ignore the question. Why did USC pass up on taking on LSU when LSU had a flyer out for anyone to fill the spot?

Nice quality wins by USC this year lmfao

ND = Joke

Hawaii on the road = Joke

Washington St = Overrated

BYU = Joke

Pac 10 THIS YEAR = JOKE

#2 team in the country lose to Cal = INEXCUSABLE!

I'm not negative, I'm just unbiased. I'm a Florida fan but like to see a fair outcome. Scott is a homer in the worst way as he sees no wrong in the world of USC & will ignore facts because of it. Atleast learn to analyze correctly :rolleyes:

I disagree with you, I am not a homer. Everything I am saying is happening at USC. Everything I have said is very realistic. Everything I say I back up with a thoughtfull argument. You do not have to agree with me, but I do not think I am a homer. It is a compliment to the USC football program that you think I am a homer because I am not stretching the truth.

Good points you brought up.
