For what its worth I really like tonights card.

Fedorov makes his return to Det. While the Wings want revenge from last years playoff exit. Weak Ducks on the road and a strong Wings team at home. As well Ducks in back to back on the road.

Sens will have Prusek in nets as Lalime is back home with the flu. Emery was called up and will be the back-up. As average as the Sens have been this year they have been a whole lot better on the road. While the Panthers are a bad home team. Road game is just what the Sens need to get away from all the media crap.

Can anyone tell me if the Sabres went home after their game in Nashville on Sat. night? They had 3 days off before their game tonight in Chicago. I like Buffalo as the 'Hawks are off a 6 game road trip and they are rested.

Love the Wings tonight Horns. Town is buzzing with Fedorov's return, Anaheim played last night, Wings are well rested and the all important revenge factor. Legacy will start I hear and he's been playing great. Motivated Red Wings at the Joe normally means bad things for the opposition.......GL

Horns, Sabres came back and had a morning skate. They played so bad in Nashville, I look for a big bounce back. Last game reminded me of game 2 when they got their asses handed to them by NYI then came back strong next game. I like the Sabres big tonight but I fear the next game against the Yotes as there is no consistency. Worry about that game later. For tonight I hear Mika N in goal, not confirmed though, and James Patrick was just named captain for December. Rotating goalies, captains, and solid performances:shrug: good luck

Horny what the hell are doing parlaying? You know these are sucker bets! All I want to know are the sens going to play with the same intensity as they did @ the corel center. Seem like after the close door meetings they come out like gang busters. But after they win the seem like they don't care and trying to put Jacques Martin in the fawking hot seat. I want to TIFD, like maybe a dime.:eek: Are they going to show up tonight bud or should I just put a couple of units on them?

grooven - A couple of things. Sens played a complete game against one of the better teams in the league. The spoke afterwards with a jump in their step and it continued yesterday and in this mornings morning skate. You are right about the closed door meeting thing but if they are ever going to get it going the way they should now is the time, I really believe that. I am not ready to trust them for 10 Units but I am ready to put a few units on them. I spoke with a few media members at length yesterday about the Sens and they are very objective. They really think they sweep the 2 game road trip and come back and beat NJ at home on Sat. Now that is looking ahead a bit but it seems like the team finally played what you call Senators hockey. Got the lead and were accountable defensively, made the Flyers pay for their mistakes and used their speed and forecheck. Hope that helps. GL
