Saints -1.5.. Tampa is done they will play hard, but the Saints are a great running team and Tampa can't stop the run.. Haslet and Gruden do not like each other. Saints will pound the Bucs all day long and this will get ugly.. Tampa will get manhandled in the second half, Deuce will pound his way to about 175 yards and 2 to 3 scores. Saints have had the bucs number for awhile, Haslet was the first to figure out that Tampa was vulnerable to a north/ south running style. I'm planning to move on this game like it has already been played, because actually it has been.. It will be a carbon copy of the previous three meetings between these two teams, except this time the bucs are flat and banged up, an a shadow of their cocky selves..
Risking Nothing to win 3 dimes.. Because it is like stealing.

All kidding aside don't play what you can't afford to lose. Strange things happen in this league.

At lunch today, I looked hard at this matchup and also came with N.O.
QBs are even, But the Saints have the NFCs leading rusher the Duce, averaging 5.1 ypc. they also have the better kicking game.
And they DO have TBs #.
Also the Saints win vs. -.500 teams and lose vs +.500 teams.
Within the playoff possibilities, NO plays a very important part in a number of other teams chances to make the playoffs. I think they fend off the wolves and keep their own playoff hopes alive.

son of a beach, I hate it when this happens, me against the ones
I like on my side, but it's just a game, TB + points, against a NO

game I'll kiss your ass... :moon: :scared

Before the season I made the Saints a 3.5 point choice here just because they are such a matchup problem for Tampa. I figured I'd get the game at no better than a pick'um based on Tampa having a much better season than they have had. Truth is there season has blown up on them. They are a far cry from the team they started the season with. Defensively they will get warn out by the Saints and offensively they don't have the weapons to compete here.

At this point I show The Saints winning by 10 minimum. Tampa may score a late TD, but this game will not be that close.

NEW ORLEANS VERY INCONSISTENT, BUT TB IS TERRIBLE. SAINTS STRUGGLE WITH TH E RUN BUT THE BUCS ARE NOT A GOOD RUNNING TEAM ANYWAY. DID ANYONE ELSE SEE THAT GAME LAST SUN NIGHT ? TB HAS TROUBLE ON OFF. IF BROOKS KEEPS HIS INT TO 2 OR LESS SAINTS WIN. IT IS IN THE DOME WHERE THEY BEAT A MUCH BETTER TB TEAM LAST YEAR. JMO
