Been posting here at Madjacks for about two years now, and hope that many have profited from my picks.

However, when it comes to a stage that another member is threatning legal action, just because I spoke what I believe to be the truth about another member, means this has gone too far.

I will be happy to e-mail anybody who is interested in getting my rugby and snooker stuff on a weekly basis, but I am done here. I do not need the hassle of having this guy constantly e-mailing me up to three times a week, informing me what he and his solicitor are doing.

I have sent several e-mails to British Bulldog requesting that we leave it at what we both had to say during the Rugby World Cup thread....I have even put him on ignore so that any posts made by British Bulldog are not viewable to me. However, I am still getting these e-mails weekly from him carrying threats, and have decided that my time is better spent elsewhere. I have e-mailed Jack without reply as yet, although I realise he is often busy.

He now accuses me of e-mailing several members of the site about the issue, while in reality I have discussed this with Kickserv and Madjack only, who I e-mailed asking to close the original thread when it all happened. I replied to Kickserv only as a response to a e-mail he sent me asking about the issue. I hope Kyle can vouch for me here on that one.

Want to thanks everybody for their help in this forum, but enough is enough for me. I have tried enough times to settle this away from the forums. When you get people with the character British Bulldog is displaying during this episode lurking around forum sites, it really makes you wonder, what peoples motives really are in joining this site in the first place.

Hope all continue to have a profitable betting career, and hope to speak to some of you by e-mail in the future.

All The Best!! :) :toast:

This is in reply and I hope the matter is put to rest once I have your appology.

Firstly, it had been several weeks since you made serious aquasations against me that I went back to post in "off the wall".

Within 10 minutes of posting I receive an e-mail from you Gareth (which had been the first communication between us in several weeks) which you started off with this;

"How about you stay the f**k out of my threads??? I warned you over a month ago, and after some piece and quiet you come into my thread."

Now you say in this e-mail "after some piece and quiet" yet in your thread above you say "I am still getting these e-mails weekly from him carrying threats"./

MAKE YOUR MIND UP. Which one is it?

You then continue between ramblings in your e-mail and ask me;
"Once again I ask you to stay out...I dont want any communication with you what so ever."

So I reply to you here, if you don't want any communication why e-mail me in the first place.

Now I will point out that another member said much the same to you, saying if you don't want it dished back up why re-raise it in the first matter.

I replied to your e-mail

"You clearly want to carry this on. Oh, and in case you didn't realise, the forum is for members and as I am a member that allows me to post where ever and when ever I like. Until such time that I am informed by Jack or an administrator not to do so I will continue to post what I like. If your not happy with that then may I suggest you leave the site."

Then for someone who doesn't want to carry it on I get another e-mail from you with the following comments;

"If I am guilty of anything, then it is bringing this rubbish up in the forums and not by e-mailing you direct".

"If you believe that my accusations are incorrect, then so be it, but this is a nation of free speech, and I will say as I feel."

"I am asking you to keep your comments to yourself. Had you done so in the first place, we would not be having this argument now."

Now I find the last quote from you laughable. You say your entitled to free speech yet ask me to keep my comments to myself. Also you said if I had kept my comments to my self in the first place.

Let me tell you again, you first came in to a thread and said I did not stake the amount on my bets personnally that I say I do here on this site. I asked you for proof, because you would only know how much I stake by either having access to my bookmaking accounts or by hacking into my computer. Both are law breaking acts. I request this proof so that is why legal action is being taken. All you have to do is come on here and say you don't have proof, you only assume. By not saying that then I must take it that you have access to some of my accounts.

Let me point out that if I play a game for ?500 I may have to play the wager at several books because when you are a consistant winner limits are placed on you.

I also said in my mailing to you "I don't think it is insensative to take you, or anyone to court for that matter. You called me a fraud (worse than Nick Leeson), you called me a liar. That is defamation of my character and if a Newspaper had printed similar to what you wrote without proof to support allegations then they too would expect to be taken to Court and pay substantial damages."

I further went on to say

"I don't want e-mails to be sent to put matters to bed. You made public statements about my character so I expect I public appology. And until that is forthcoming I will continue to gather evidence for my solicitor. You go on about free speech in one breath and then in the other "if I had kept my comments to myself then we would not be having this argument now". So I see, it's fine for you to post and say what you like about me, yet I am to keep my comments to myself".

"I value your opinion in the sports you cover. It takes guts to get up there and say what you think regarding an outcome knowing that others are following your recommendations".

"If you want all this to stop it is simple. Go onto the thread and appologise to me for all your comments made saying you were wrong to say them because you have no poof to support your comments. I will let you into a secret, by god you are so wrong in what you wrote about me and if you do not take the action I suggested above, then I am sorry for you and I will see you in Court so you have the privaledge to see what a fool you have been".

"Think about all that I have said. The ball is in your court. Without a public appology in the forum I will continue to pursue this matter via the court".

Now it really is that simple. Grow up and admit that you are wrong. I don't want to see you leave the site. Your game analysis is good, and your results in rugby have stood the test of time. I just feel that you should not go around brandishing comments about how much I stake when it is 99% certain that you have not one shread of evidence and also comments and accuse me of posting late plays. I have posted my plays here for 14 months and not once has a play been posted late.

I post in the community pages that Jack kindly supplied to me because that is what they are there for. I don't have to post my plays in the forum. I can choose to do that as and when I wish. If I post plays in several sports, then instead of some members here (that follows my plays) having to go through each forum to find them, they are all nicely presented in several pages of the community pages. I really cannot see what your problem is. You should not make comments that are damaging to others without proof. You never know when its likely to bite you back.

Why in the world do people have to announce they are leaving, could it be they just want the attention or actionly want to be the one to keep whatever the problem is going.

You have a problem and want to leave the site then just leave you don't have to announce it. Hell why post it anyway, this is the first I've even heard of you and I've been here almost 4 years.

Hell we have had one guy leave, what 2-3 times and each time we get a long rambling post about how he is not appreciated and abused, what a crock, just take a hike.

BTW what everhappened to michaeljbird:shrug: :D

Yea boiler, I don't know. For all his rants and whining I really liked and appreciated his posts and capping skills. He usually had great write ups and whether you agreed with him or not he always seemed to give good information and facts about his plays.

He just was too thin skinned especially for a sport talk site. Maybe he'll pop in and let us all know what happened this time :D

he had a run in with RAZ but that was not the reason.

He explained he was stressed and pressured and had life issues going on and that he needed to take time away.

Can't blame him if he did what he had to do.

Thats what I remember. He may drop in.

It is not just the amount I stake it is also the fact he publically called me a fraud and a crook (worse than Nick leeson were his words). Crookycymru said he knew for a fact how much I staked. Now that must tell me he has access to my accounts.

Tell me this. Would you like others to have access to your accounts. That is why I am taking legal action as to find out how he has factural proof to the amount I stake. So as you see, it's not just a matter of how much I stake, if as he says he knows for a fact, I want to know how he knows as it is illegal to have this information unless I have given permission. It's called the "data protection act".

Also I have not posted a late play in my community pages. Apart from crookycymru and one of his buddies saying I have, I have not had anyone from this site post to say about late postings and I am sure there would be many here that would post that fact. But as no one else has since I have had the community pages for close on a year, I take it that infact my plays are posted in advance of game time.

Now don't all rush out and start saying that I don't post on time (only kidding). This has smeered my good name and is a defirmation of my character.

That is why I have seeked legal advice and although our two Countries laws are different, my solicitor says the case is strong due to the fact that crookycymru states he knows all this is FACT. All I am asking for at present is documented proof so I can get to the bottom of it and find out which source has allowed my private and personnel business to be accessed by others. If crookycymru cannot produce this evidence then I am left with very little alternative but to go along the channel I am taking because he has yet to produce any evidence after I have requested it. If it comes to light that indeed he is lying, then that leads to a charge of defirmation of character which he is accountable for. That is how the jurdicial / legal service works here in the UK.

ctownguy - the reason you haven't heard of crooky is because you're too fookin stupid to look around the site....
always thought madjacks was a forum where people could share their knowledge....
crooky has been constantly posting big winning numbers in rugby plays for the past couple of years...
actually, i'd wager :D that the Off the Wall forum is the most profitable forum here by some margin...
but a massive percentage of people here ignore it and simply want to get there own name up in lights by posting their plays and seeing who reads it...
I couldn't give a chit if I made money in tiddlywinks, bases or hoops, fact is that there are guys in the OTW forum over past years (and I should include the Golf forum here too...) who have been highly profitable in things like motor racing, rugby etc and most other members have their heads too far up their own ass to make any cash from it without having to do anything but put yer wager on...

actually, I apologise for that initial outburst, uncalled for - just makes me extremely mad when there are MJs members who work their tail off to help other gamblers, get little to no recognition and we end up losing them .... GL to ya....

well there is the answer guys, you only live 300 miles apart. Picking a pub somewhere in the middle should be relatively easy. Maybe you 2 can settle this over a couple ale' s, then if that doesn't work you can go outside & settle this amongst yourselves and stop entertaining the board with such petty bs.

Isn't that a little ironic? MJbird left without all the hoopla you are talking about, and you ask whatever happened to him! :D

Agree Anders I have been watching this from afar since the beginning and while it might have gone to far to patch things up maybe there is hope. Both are VERY excellent cappers in the own right. A loss of either or both would be tradgedy from my view point.
----and not to change the subject but in thinking along lines of excellence I sure miss Turtle. Haven't heard from him in quite a while. Still rub the lucky Tiki he sent from Gods land on occasion :)

Anders, sorry I'm so fookin stupid not to be interested in betting on fookin rugby and not going into a forum I have no interest in.

Yet I've been in general all the time and still haven't heard of this guy, but he has no problem posting to all he is leaving WHICH I MIGHT ADD WAS ALL MY POST WAS ABOUT.

:thefinger

yyz, Come to think of it, I guess that is funny, even so IMO don't need a long rambling detailed post to say I won't be posting for awhile or taking off a couple months etc not whining for attention and hoping members will beg these guys to stay.

Contray to what others have said here or in other foums. I do not want to see crooky go.

As I said, he is an excellant capper who works hard at a couple of sports. Rugby and snooker may not appeal to you but I sure think that you would all like to stick $200 down on the side that this bloke says and wake up in the morning to find that you have won 60% of the time.

Crooky made over 20 units profit in about 30 plays last month in rugby and approx 10 units profit in the last two snooker tournaments.

I have followed his plays. Some I play, some I don't, but what ever I decide, I know that I will end up with money in the bank.

Likewise, I know from past e-mails between us that he played a good number of my selections last winter and into the middle of this year and he to made money from my advices.

I am not begging him to come back, like I am not begging him to go. It's a loss to the forum and the site, but if that is what he wants to do then that is his choice. He has not been driven from this site. All I want to hear and see posted in the forum from the guy is that he fabricated what he said and that he has no proof. Then we can all get on with our lifes.

As for meeting the guy. I don't think so. If he wants to shake hands, then all he has to do is come on here and offer his hand out.

If it makes him feel better, then I have no qualms about leaving this site and fond memories behind. I have other stuff to pursue in life and I come here to gain insight and info and follow a few good cappers that allow me to add 50 points profit to my bank in a year to go with the 250+ points that I made myself last year. It also allows others to benefit from a regular supply of winning opportunities from my recommendations and that results in good profits to those that follow (American sports included).

But I wont broadcast it. My suitcase is ready !!!!
