USC Trojans vs Oregon St. Beavers

Personally I look for the Trojans to go deep early and often.

The Beavers better tighten up if they want to stop the Trojans from penetrating their red zone. The last thing anybody wants is another Trojan blowout. On the other hand, I seriously doubt the Trojans can go at it for a full 60 minutes.

I hope the Trojan defense bends, not breaks, deep in Beaver territory.

I heard the trojans are going in a little stiff. But they'll come around.

The Beavers are definitely going to get creamed.

Don't be surprised if the Trojans have a come-from-behind victory.

When its all said and done I'm sure the Beavers will be disappointed the Trojans didn't field a bigger team.

The key to this game is OSU's running game. If they get it going, it will be a tough game. If they dont, it will be a long day.

I see the Trojans controlling both sides of the line of scrimmage just like they have done in every game since Cal.

The only thing that worries me about the 21 is the backdoor cover. Late score on the scrubs.

btw, if usc does for some reason lose outright, or if they somehow get jumped in the bcs by lsu it looks like it could be a long winter for the your trojans.

the usc cagers are getting points tomorrow in that game? you see that? talk about no expectations.

Thanks and good luck to you too gman2. I always enjoy reading your threads. The USC basketball team is talented but I think poorly coached. They do not know how to win and deserve to be 2pt underdogs. They are 0-3 ATS this year and 0-3 record wise. However, they should win tom. so maybe it is a good bet.

USC football team should roll tom. but Pete Carroll said he will play 2nd and 3rd string early if USC is up by a lot. He said he does not care about blowing out OSU to impress polls. The 2nd and 3rd stringers earn the right to play. The team is very very focused tom. and they keep talking about winning the game to win the pac 10 conference outright. Not talking BCS NC. OSU LB's are injured and USC should be able to run on them all day especially outside. USC defense is banged up as well at LB but OSU QB Anderson is afraid of the USC defense. He had HORRIBLE game against USC last year and look for him to repeat. He is a statue (USC DL are monsters) and will force him into making poor throws. Look for INT's tom. for USC secondary which would allow USC to cover the 21pts because USC will give up a TD or 2 in garbage time. USC has given up garbage pts all year. I am going to be interested in watching Stephen Jackson (the best RB on west coast) run against the USC DL. Great matchup. Look for RB REGGIE BUSH #5 to have HUGE game, def. will break a long TD tom. OSU cannot defend the outside run and Reggie excels at running on outside and he can catch the ball as good as any WR. He is a future Heisman winner. Bank on it.

just my opinion, but thats coachspeak from carroll. he'll bury osu if given the chance -- no matter what he says. thats the only game i have no lean on tomorrow. really not much value in usc, as line clearly reflects their need for this game; however, dont trust osu enough to hang. enjoy the game.

looks like the trojans are a far cry from the super-athletic usc teams of a few yrs ago with trepagnier, clancy, et al.
