two strong ones for right now:

2.5 units.....bowling green (-3) over northwestern
2.0 units.....richmond (+16) over wake forest

hopefully bgsu can give me one win this week, lol. but this is a spot where falcons definitely undervalued. falcons with two road losses to mediocre bradley and lame-ass buffalo. but traditionally strong home court for bowling green coupled with northwestern being very subpar on the road. dakich really ripped into his team after the buffalo loss in almost lou holtz-fashion, inferring that northwestern could clobber his falcons on saturday afternoon. would be surprised if his guys dont respond with a solid effort. lewis has gotten off to a solid start for the falcons this year, but netter has been plagued by repeated foul trouble. once netter gets his head out of his ass, bowling green will be fine and theyll have a solid inside-out game.

as far as richmond goes, wakes been a covering machine out of the gate -- simply obliterating the vegas number. i think that creates an overlay, especially with a decent and capable richmond team coming to lawrence-joel on saturday. spiders played wake tough last year and i think wake might be a little flat here. after dropping 100 on indiana in the big 10/acc challenge, richmond might not be the most inspiring of opponents for a young wake team. just see the deacons holding a 9-13 point lead the entire game and never really beating the piss outta richmond at any point

more to come

Not sure if I can back Bowling Green with my hard earned cash again (had them the other night vs. Buffalo) .... as a Big 12 follower, my play of the day would be Missouri -3 (Olympic) as they should hammer Indiana .... kind of leary about my Jayhawks giving -5 1/2 (Olympic) for a game out in California (not Stanford home court though I don't believe) .... going back to the MAC, how about Central Michigan getting +17 1/2 against Notre Dame?? Don't really know anything about CMU, but assume they lost a lot (Kaman, etc.) from last year .... still don't think the Irish will totally blow them out though .... any thoughts on that one?? Good luck tomorrow!!

geno:

bowling green's always been jekyl and hyde away from anderson arena. wasnt surprised they lost to buffalo. bulls were due for one. bgsu had never lost to buffalo in their history, so i guess from that perspective, it was a little surprising. im a sucker for well-coached teams and dakich is a mother****er coming off a loss. he's a bob knight disciple and i expect bgsu to rebound.

as far as missouri goes, i know IU sucks, but coming off one of the worst losses youll ever see from that program, i couldnt fade em as a home dog. missouri loaded though and underachieving, so i pass altogether. if mizzou jumps on em early, IU will quit. if hoosiers get off to a good start, i dont see mizzou winning

as far as kansas goes, thats a tough game. personally i think stanford is grossly overrated but theyre a solid dog traditionally vs upper-echelon teams. kansas looked mediocre in the 1h of the tcu game but really looked good in 2h. honestly, im still trying to get a read on how self is going to have them play. when williams was there, his teams forced the tempo so much that they could cover middle-range chalk without a problem. im trying to stay away from kansas game until big 12 conf play starts

as far as central michigan goes, heres what im worried about with them. this is already their 6th game in less than TWO WEEKS, including lots of travel. theyre not a particularly deep team. notre dame is the last team you want to face at the end of a tough stretch. theyll run you to death. if you look at cmu's schedule, youll see they have some "rest time" after this brutal stretch. they dont play again until next saturday and then they have ANOTHER week off until the following saturday. id look at this like an nba team playing the last game of a long road trip. if the scheduling spot wasnt so bad and cmu was fresher, i could give em a look. but this is about the worst kind of opponent cmu wants to see when theyve got tired legs. irish push the ball as well as anyone in the country.

Im with you on Coach for BG But I sure cant back them yet. They lost to Finley if Im not wrong?
Ill watch..
IU Sucks Bracy is good but this team has no inside game. All inside points are garbage. Point guard play sucks also.
Davis talking of putting Bracy at point...NOT a good idea in my outlook. Only thing that scares me is it is at IU....and if you seen the game with X last Sat...The calls go there way when at home.
Ill jump on ND as C Mich not playing good and with losing all that they had.
But good luck anyway.. I keep a very close watch on you and Omar. I also like the MAc.

bowling green beat findlay 64-50 a few wks ago.
cant blame you fot sitting this one out. just think bg has lots of value here. seems a lot of people cant get the buffalo loss out of their head. netter was in foul trouble all game and bg just not a great road team. they should get this one. thanks for your reply

both early plays no-doubters. unfortunately, bowling green game was a no-doubter in favor of northwestern. richmond gets it done (cant believe spiders tried to piss it away. never trailed by more than 7 all game. then mail in the final 4:00 to almost fu/ck it up, lol)

still trying to find some consistency. hitting some plays dead-on, but have missed a couple plays badly in the last week.

played these for later:

1 unit.....detroit (+12.5) over wisconsin
1 unit.....fresno (-5.5) over princeton
