USC #1 in both polls playing in the rose bowl where they can at least fight for national title.

Tennessee (10-2) goes to the chitty ass peach bowl where they went as a 8-4 team??? This system SUX!!!!!!!

I would blame the Peach Bowl's tie in with the ACC more than anything else. You have 5 top teams in the SEC - one of them had to get the shaft.

Volfan,

Big UT fan down here in SC and they are all jacked about the game. They don't understand that UT fans could care less about the fawking PEach Bowl!!

Regardless of that, the way I see this game is 2 different extremes. If the VOls come ready to play, they will beat the living sh*t out of Clemson. HOwever, we all know Fulmer is no master motivator, so if they have their heads up their a**es, Clemson might hand them one. Don't see any middle ground here.

Your thoughts??

I'd love to see USC and LSU in the Sugar. A few years ago they'd have been there easily. Don't like a team losing 35-7 in their conference championship game playing for national championship. Just doesn't feel right.

As for Vols in Peach, djchad was right, someone had to get screwed. Georgia deserves where they are, beat Vols soundly. Case could be made for Vols and Gators switching bowls, due to Vols head-to-head victory, but then again Gators beat Georgia. Vols lost points by losing to Auburn. Whoever dreamed the Tigers would be bowling where they're going? Look at it this way, lots of teams would love to be in Peach (including Auburn). Vol fans spoiled, but they're used to more high class stuff. Maybe next year.

I look for a grateful clemson squad to stay within the number and possibly win outright vs the disgruntled Vols in this spot.
